after") Metal Slash (30) - Attacks metal type of enemies (usually 1-2 damage (or miss) g ood for the weaker metals (the ones with 4hp, pair him with angelo's metal slash and you have a chance of taking one out in 1 turn, useless later on). Falcon Slash (52) - 2 Slashes sword attack (strongest single enemy sword attack later on, doesn't hit for full damage on both hits, each slash hits for around 3 /4th full damage). Giga Slash (100) - Attacks one group of enemies (Giga break does more damage and can be used without actually having a sword equipped, I believe.. but yea, grea t damage, low MP cost after 1/2 mp passive skill kicks in, great group hitter, o ne of the main character's strongest options against almost every enemy in the g ame. giga slash starts out at 175~ and peaks at around 220~ depending on your le vel. giga break starts out at 250 and peaks at 300 depending on your level). <Hero - Spear Skill> Hurricane Thrust (7) - A quick spear attack that will attack first (good for tak ing out enemies who can ruin your fight in the first turn - status ailment spamm ers, exploders, etc) One Flash Thrust (12) - Becomes critical attack if the attack hits (this and its upgraded version are the best metal killer attacks, criticals ignore enemy defe nse and the evasion chance doesn't effect the move's inherent % to hit so as lon g as it hits, the metal is dead... this is great because some of the later metal s have quite a bit of hp) May Rain Thrust (25) - Random consecutive attacks on targets (the main character 's strongest single enemy attack... great damage, hits a total of 3~4 times for about 1/2 damage each hit.. usually splits the hits over a number of enemies.. i f there is only 1 enemy, all 3~4 hits will be targetted at it) Mow Sweep (45) - A circular spear attack against one group of enemies (group att ack, not too great because you'll have so many more options by now, but adds fle xibility) Thunder Light One Flash Thrust (59) - An upgraded version of 'One Flash Thrust' (see one flash thrust) Gigo Spark (100) - A hell thunder attack against all enemies (same as angelo's b est sword attack, a bit more costly than gigaslash/break and a little less damag e.. but it hits all enemies - great skill, good damage, hits all enemies, what m ore could you want?) <Hero - Boomerang Skill> Cross Cutter (6) - Attacks with a cross locus (hits all enemies and then hits th e first enemy again, good damage for the relatively how amount of skill points r equired... kind of masks the boomerang's bad 1 on 1 attack power.. but not very well) Powerful Throw (18) - An all power throw, damage to all enemies (slightly lower damage but the damage doesn't decrease at it moves along the enemy line... good at first, but the upgraded version of this is what you're aiming for if you're g oing for boomerangs) Super Poweful Throw (52) - Upgraded version of Powerful Throw (bigger damage, do esn't decrease, what's not to like?) Giga Throw (100) - Ultimate boomerang attack against 1 enemy (initially goes for 160~ damage and peaks at 260 as you level up, only hits 1 enemy, pails in compa rison when put next to giga spark, giga break.. even falcon slash or may rain th rust... it's an attempt to give boomerangs a good 1 on 1 attack, but fails.. mis erably.) <Hero - Bare Hands Skill> Great Defense (11) - Greatly reduce damage (helps if you're anticipating a hightension attack from the enemy, other than that, no real use) Justice Fist Thrust (24) - Charges and attack enemy with Justice Fist (this is a
ctually interesting... normally hits for 1.5 times normal damage, and ISN'T effe cted by tension.. but doesn't release your tension level either, meaning you can be at 50 tension before using this attack.. and remain at 50 tension after usin g it) Hollow Break (42) - Air type attack against all enemies (good all enemy attack s kill, starts out at 50~ damage and raises to 120~ as you level up... good attack considering it's barehands we're talking about) Burst Rend Fist (70) - Could result in a 4 consecutive hits against enemy (hits enemies randomly for a total of up to 4 times.. for 1/3 damage each time. basica lly the may rain thrust for bare hands.. but sucks when really compared) <Hero - Courage Skill> Lula (8) - Transport to a previously visited place (great skill, you get it earl y, and helps you save money and time) Kiarik (16) - Heals sleep and paralyze of the party (useful again, helps save mo ney and save lives, good skill for the relatively low skill points needed to rea ch it) Toheros (28) - Similar to Holy Water, resist weak enemies on field and dungeon ( again, helps save money because there is an item version of this, great skill, g reat time saver later on when you're basically travelling the world in search of more specific things) Mahoton (40) - Seal a group of enemies from using magic (good skill, I don't sti ck to status ailments too much, but it's useful) Ridin (48) - Thuner type magic against all enemies (good, low cost all enemy hit ter, main character is lacking in that department if you go with sword/spear fir st so this helps cure that weakness) Consume MP 3/4 (56) - Consumes only 3/4 of MPs on anything magic or skill (this and the upgraded version really puts the main character above the rest... he alr eady has quite the supply of MP later on.. this and the upgraded version just ma kes it all his spells so much easier to deal with) Megante (70) - Kill yourself in order to give one final attack against enemies ( this is useful.. kind of.. it's great damage.... but you die.. haha.) Behomazun (82) - Fully heals the party (this is orgasmic. heals ALL PARTY MEMBER S to FULL LIFE... WHAT MORE CAN YOU ASK FOR FROM A HEALING SPELL?) Consume MP 1/2 (90) - Consumes only 1/2 of MPs on anything magic or skill (okay, now it's just getting unfair.. the main character has good 1 on 1 attacks, mass ively damaging group + all enemy attacks, and great healing.. and now all at hal f the MP cost... he's the hero for a reason, I guess) Giga Din (100) - Angry thunder attack against one group of enemies (this is the upgraded kiarik... intially 120 damage and increases to around 200 as you level up. good damage.. but the main character has so many other options at this posit ion that this spell kind of falls into the background.
<Yangus - Axe Skill> Helmet Cut (6) - Damage and decrease the defense of the enemy (great skill, shav es off defense AND deals damage (unlike its spell based counterpart). great pair ed with the offensive assets of the main character and angelo) Demon God Slash (19) - Critical if it hits (this and the upgraded version are ex actly like the main character's one flash thrust. this skill is absolutely vital to killing higher leveled metals and handly when you're up against enemies with massive defense) Pale Sky Demon Slash (42) - Damage and can paralyze the enemy (this attack is pr etty much the staple axe attack. hits for 1.5 times your normal attack power, an d has a chance to paralyze the enemy.. not a good chance, but still a chance. yo u get all this with a low MP cost.. which is important because this is yangus we 're talking about) Axe Matchless (54) - Peerless axe attack against one group of enemies (consideri
ng how early you can get this skill, it makes a huge difference. much like the m ain character, yangus, no matter how you spread his skills, will be seriously la cking in the ability to attack more than 1 enemy, this cures that problem to an extent and gives you more flexibility in your offense. hits 1 group and decrease s in damage as it progresses down the enemy line, hits for slightly less damage than a normal attack) Great Demon God Slash (66) - Upgraded version of Demon God Slash (see Demon God Slash) Gale Beast God Slash (100) - An ougi that works best against beast type enemy (r eally dissapointing... especially after seeing how everyone else's final skills completely blow the enemy out of the water. hits for 1.5 times normal damage nor mally but deals 2 times normal damage to beast race enemies.. only hits 1 enemy, only 1 time. sucks, huh?) <Yangus - Strike/Hammer Skill> Heart Break (19) - Damage and can stop the enemy (great attack considering how e arly you get it. slightly lower damage than a normal attack but has a chance to stall the enemy for 1 turn. hits 1 enemy) Gold Hammer (25) - Attack and steals gold at the same time (hits 1 enemy for sli ghtly less than a normal attack and steals 1/10th of the gold they would normall y drop, you get no gold if you kill them with the attack.. which sucks) Mind Break (71) - An upgraded version of Heart Break (this is a let down conside ring how late you get it. slightly more damage than a normal attack and has a hi gher chance of stalling the enemy for 1 turn) Gold Rush (92) - Great damage and steals lots of gold from enemy (again, another let down considering how late you get it. steals 2/10th of the gold they would normally drop, hits for slightly more than a normal attack) Devil Crash (100) - An attack works good against devil type enemy (and lastly, a nother let down considering it's the last skill in this branch. hits material ra ce enemies for 1.5 times normal damage and devil race enemies for 2 times normal damage.. only 1 enemy, only 1 hit.. sucks... again) <Yangus - Sickle Skill> Robber Cut (22) - Attacks and sometimes steal items from an enemy (okay, this is very useful even though the success rate is horrible. hits 1 enemy with a chanc e of stealing the item they carry. the rarer the drop, the harder it is to steal . you don't get anything if you kill the enemy with this attack. some of the rar er items in the game are next to impossible to get through a drop... atleast whe n you steal, you can be sure of getting it sometime down the road.) Sickle Weasel (32) - Attacks enemy with an air weasel sickle (air element, start s at around 35 damage and peaks at 140 depending on your level. decent.) Death God Sickle - Attacks a group of enemies (Great attack considering how earl y you can get it, basically Axe Matchless with the added ability to kill enemies in one hit occasionally. hits 1 group for slightly less damage than your normal attack power, decreases in strength as you move down the line. Great Skill, one of Yangus's best) Sickle of Great Robber (70) - An upgraded version of Robber Cut (see robber cut. this just has bigger damage, better chance of stealing) Sickle of Hades (90) - An attack that works best on zombie (upgraded death god s ickle. hits 1 group and damage is on par with a normal attack. I believe it has the same instant death chances but has an added bonus damage to zombie race enem ies) Big Bang (100) - A great explosion attack that meant to destroy all (THANK GOD.. . FINALLY A FINAL SKILL THAT'S ACTUALLY LIKE A FINAL SKILL! this is what probabl y puts the scythe skill set at the front of the pack. hits all enemies for a rea lly costly amount of mana (30) which is pretty hard to manage considering it's Y angus.. but anyways, great damage - starts at 200 and peaks after level 50 at 35 0~... on par with the strongest attacks in the game. Great Skill, a must have.) <Yangus - Bare Hands Skill>
Justice Fist Thrust (12) - Charges and attack enemy with Justice Fist (see hero' s skill description) Thief Harvest (33) - Able to move around without fighting monsters (basically th e same effect the hero's Toheros has.. and the same "cannot-encounter" status gr anted by the item version.) Hollow Break (42) - Air type attack against all enemies (see hero's skill descri ption) Burst Rend Fist (60) - Could result in a 4 consecutive hits against enemy (see h ero's skill description) <Yangus - Humanity Skill> Whistle (4) - Calls up enemies to battle on the map (good skill for calling up e nemies that only spawn in very specific settings - metals, forest only enemies, sand only enemies, etc. and works even when you're in "cannot-encounter-enemy" m ode. Meaning, you can cast a spell or use the item that prevents you from runnin g into weaker enemies and waltz around the world until you've reached your hunti ng grounds and then whistle away without having to wait for the item/spell effec t to wear off) Hoimi (10) - Heals around 30 HP of one ally (well, this is better than no healin g. gives some flexibility early on especially since yangus doesn't have much els e to do with his mp) Nose of Thief (16) - Predicts the remaining number of nearby treasure boxes (sli ghtly useful, detects the number of near buy treasure chests in either a town or dungeon. watch out though, this spell doesn't differentiate between normal ches ts and mimics) Roar (22) - A special move that can stop a group of enemies (stalls one group of enemies for 1 turn... doesn't always hit and is a pretty big gamble, slightly u seful for when you're in a pinch and desperately need to stop as many enemies as possible) Mahoager (32) - Transfer 20 MPs to an ally (again, this is good early in the gam e because of the fact that yangus has little else to spend his MP on. later on, while this skill is useful in tighter fights, most characters have enough MP to carry themselves just fine) Skurt (42) - Raies party's defense (same stat buffer that angelo gets at level 1 4. no real use because yangus is rarely on the support and typically on the offe nsive.. that and angelo has more MP and has higher agility, thus going sooner in the round (which is important because you want to buff your defense before the enemy attacks you). not that great for yangus) Suteteko Dance (55) - A special move that can stop all enemies (upgraded roar, b asically. hit's all enemies instead of only a group and ALWAYS stuns certain typ es of enemies for 1 turn - on others, just has a chance to stun for 1 turn. Behoimi (68) - Heals around 75 HP of one ally (at this point, you'll probably ha ve plenty of healing with both the hero and angelo.. so this really isn't all th at useful, especially since it takes so many skill points to learn) Megazar (83) - Sarcrifice yourself to bring back all dead allies (this is the li fe saver if you really are in a tight jam. Yangus has the most HP (for most of t he game, that is) and the highest natural defense so his chances of living throu gh a beating are better than the rest of your cast - him having this skill is on ly appropriate. does just what the description says, yangus dies, the rest are r evived) Uncle Call (100) - Attacks all enemies with an army of uncles (Trode & others) ( this skill is pretty damn useless but absolutely hilarious the first time you se e it. hits random targets for up to 4 times. initially goes for 45~ damage and p eaks at around 120~ as you level up. normally, I would be saying good, later on this attack will really be pounding 1 on 1.. too bad it isn't effected by tensio n... that sucks)
Poison Dagger (9) - Attack and can poison an enemy (attacks 1 enemy for about ha lf your normal attack damage and has a chance of poisoning them.. not too hot... especially when jessica's 1 on 1 damage with a dagger is already really low and the poison doesn't really help to mask that... especially since it's only a cha nce to inflict poison) Assassin Attack (22) - Attack and can cause sudden death to enemy (this is actua lly good compared to other skills you get that this level. hits 1 enemy for full attack damage and has a chance to instant kill them. this is good because it co mpletely replaces her normal attack and because it does a good job of somewhat m asking jessica's poor 1 on 1 by occasionally instant killing) Can Equip Sword & Sword Attack Power +10 (30) - Can equip sword (I thought this would be important to include.. just so you all know that jessica CAN use swords later on.. most important swords except for the 137 attack power sword that can only be obtained in the game after) Poison Sword (66) - An upgraded version of Poison Dagger (hits for slightly more than a normal attack and has a higher poison chance. upgraded poison dagger... not too great because poison isn't too effective - enemies die pretty fast in th is game if you battle correctly. that, and you get it pretty late, so it's a dou ble let down) Lightning Death (100) - A lightning fast powerful attack to kill the targets (th is attack is a disappointment.. but not as bad as some of yangus's final attacks . hits 1 enemy for 1.5 times normal damage and has a chance to instant kill. aga in, this pretty much replaces jessica's normal attack as the staple. masks jessi ca's low 1 on 1 output well and gives a chance to instant kill. later on, when j essica can equip some of the better swords and her stats start to jump, her atta ck damage is actually exceptable.. so this attack is okay) <Jessica - Whip Skill> Numb Strike (10) - Attack and can paralyze the target (amazing skill for how soo n you can get it. amazing. attacks 1 group of enemies for normal damage and has a chance to paralyze. basically yangus's pale sky demon slash with the 1.5x dama ge replaced by group hit. great skill, really makes up for jessica's early lack of raw offensive power with the nifty paralyze) Double Dragon Strike (23) - Can double attack a group of enemies (attacks enemie s randomly within a selected group for a total of 2 times. hits for 1.5 normal d amage. again, great skill. slightly weaker than the hero's falcon slash but stil l useful considering these are whips and this is jessica) Lady Whip (32) - Absorb HPs from the hit enemy (attacks 1 group for full normal attack power and absorbed 1/8th of the damage done to the first target as hp. de cent considering jessica doesn't have any healing options depending on which ski ll routes you chose. good for convenience and adds some flexibility to your supp ort/offensive balance) Whip of Love (55) - Target enemy will be paralyzed (amazing skill. numb strike w as good already, this upgraded version hits 1 group for 1.5 times normal attack damage.. and has a higher chance of paralyzing. basically yangus's pale sky demo n slash except it hits 1 group. yangus got shafted. great skill even though it c omes pretty late) Queen Whip (82) - An upgraded version of Lady Whip (this is the first disappoint ment in jessica's whip skill set. upgraded lady's whip.. but not much upgrade co nsidering the number of skill points you have to invest. slightly more damage th an a normal attack and 2/8th hp return based on the damage inflicted to the 1st target. a let down considering it should be better than the previous skill.. and isn't) Earth Crawl Great Snake (100) - Changes whip into a snake to attack targets (the next let down in jessica's whip skill set.. and a pretty big one. hits for 1.5t imes normal attack power and INCREASES as you move down the enemy order (line) a s opposed to the typical decrease in attack power. nothing special, really... I would've LOVED to see jessica pick up a devastating 1 on 1 attack here... consid ering late game, she has plenty of all enemy attacks via whip and magic. a let d own)
<Jessica - Staff Skill> Piolim (3) - Speed up the party's speed (great skill especially for how many ski ll points it costs. THIS IS A MUST HAVE~!!! vital for metal hunting as it pumps your agility and promises an earler action in the battle round... that, and it's always nice to be able to move faster than the enemy in any case. GREAT SKILL. adds 1x to your speed each time you use it.. meaning, if your speed is 200, one use will make it 400, the second use will make it 600 etc) Lukanan (7) - Decreases the defense of a group of enemies (this is decent, norma lly, yangus's helmet cut is sufficient in shaving off enemy defense but if you d esperately need to lower someone's defense quickly, I guess this might serve a p urpose) Mahokanta (21) - Creates mirror that can reflect back magic (this is decent, goo d defensive magic skill and reflects back magic attacks (even group/all attacks, I believe). good against some bosses and enemies that spam magic like no other. BIG WARNING - it reflects ally spells, too.. so yea, warning) Magic Barrier (31) - Put up magic barrier to reduce damage from magic (this is p retty much the better version of the spell above IMO. doesn't reflect, but reduc es fire and ice damage by half.. and more important, paired with the proper equi pment, can almost completely negate the damage of spells in general. doesn't eff ect party healing or stat buffs.. which is VERY IMPORTANT to me) Staff of Blessing (57) - Heals an ally (heals one ally for 75~90 points, good co nsidering jessica doesn't have any better 1 on 1 healing options.. but sucks bec ause you have to have a staff equiped to use it, because it comes so late in the game, and because you'll have so many other options at that stage in the game. disappointment) MP Auto Recover (70) - Recovers MP each turn when equips staff (this is decent. not too much MP, but it's some.. and even though later on you won't have many is sues with MP recovery especially since the staff boosts MP, this does serve a go od purpose earlier on. a let down considering how late you get it, again) Zaorik (100) - Fully revive an ally in 100% chances (this is probably justificat ion enough for getting staff to 100. FULLY REVIVES A FALLEN ALLY WITH A 100% SUC CESS RATE. one of the only means of reviving a fallen ally and probably the best and most practical option. the only issue is jessica has to be alive to use it. . which, considering her low defense and HP, might be hard to orchestrate) <Jessica - Bare Hands Skill> Moonsault (45) - Fly up high and attack all enemies (attacks all enemies. when t argetting only 1 enemy, hits for 1.5 times normal attack damage. as the number o f enemies increase, the power of the attack goes down... this attack is actually fairly useful (considering it's barehands). 1 on 1, it serves to replace the no rmal attack option and it still dishes out decent damage against groups) Evade Rate Up (52) - Evade rate up when equips no weapon (just to answer someone 's question from earlier, yes, evade rate is increased by a barehands passive sk ill) Hollow Break (68) - Air type attack against all enemies (see hero's skill descri ption) Madante (100) - Attack all enemies with full power (releases (uses) jessica's re maining MP and does damage equal to double the MP released to all enemies. effec ted by tension. potentially THE SINGLE MOST DAMAGING SPELL IN THE GAME. later on , in the 40~50s, jessica will easily have over 300mp. That's 600 raw damage befo re tension count. easily the strongest group/1 on 1 attack... and as I said earl ier, this works well paired with the staff skill set. use this, switch to staff and let it slowly replenish your MP (or you can steal mp using the strongest sta ff weapon)) <Jessica - Sex Appeal Skill> Throw Kiss (8) - Can cause the target to stop (hits 1 enemy for normal attack da mage and has a chance to stop them for 1 turn.. decent skill for the low skill p oints required, nothing special though, especially since her whip skills complet
ely OWN this) Charm Rate Up (18) - Can charm enemy sometimes (occasionally, stalls enemies bef ore they act in a turn. useful, and again, good for how low its skill point requ irment is. the success rate is nothing special, though) Medapani (26) - Causes confusion to a group of enemies (what the description say s, I don't use status ailments too much in the game, I can see a use when you're out matched in the fight, but normally, you'll be strong enough to take out any given enemy within 1-3 turns so status ailment spells don't have time to set in ) Pahupahu (38) - Can cause stop to an enemy (the infamous puff puff. targets 1 en emy and occasionally causes them to stall for 1 turn. some enemies will ALWAYS b e stalled for 1 turn.. not too great, it's just a toriyama classic) Hip Attack (48) - A balanced strength attack against the target (hits 1 target f or 1.5x normal attack damage. decent for damage, but again, if you chose to go t he whip path instead of sex appeal, this attack would totally be outclassed by w hip of love) Sexy Beam (54) - Can damage and cause confusion to the target (hits for 70~ dama ge and causes confuse for 5~8 turns. this is decent, the only issue is when targ etting enemies inherently resistant towards confuse, not only will the chance to confuse drop, the damage will also drop with it.. again, nothing special) Lalihoma (68) - Causes a group of enemies to fall asleep (what the description s ays) Charm Rate Up+ (78) - Can charm enemy at high rate (upgraded charm rate up. high er success rate.. is actually useful at this level because it occurs at a decent rate and is passive... meaning you don't have to use it. great deal, good skill , too bad the efficiency doesn't come until this late) Pink Typhoon (88) - A sudden tornado attack against a group of enemies (hits one group of enemies for 80~ wind damage. this is useless. seriously, jessica owns in the group and all enemy attack department, this skill was absolutely uneeded when she has SOOOO many other better options. an utter waste especially since it costs so many skill points) Hustle Dance (100) - Heals the party with about 70 HPs (heals the party for 75~ HP. this is decent only for the fact that jessica lacks any other all party heal ing, disappointing for a final skill.. and even more dissappointing becuase ther e is an item that has the same effect but better (more healing; about 120~ point s). the item doesn't disappear upon use and remains in your inventory (philosoph er's stone is the japanese name). waste of 100 skill points.. complete waste)
<Angelo - Sword Skill> Flame Slash (9) - Sword attacks with fire power (I'll describe it here since I d idn't with the main character, decent skill, hits for 1.5x your normal attack da mage... decent skill for how early you get it) Metal Slash (22) - Attacks metal type of enemies (see hero's skill description) Falcon Slash (40) - 2 Slashes sword attack (see hero's skill description - later on, this is the strongest 1 on 1 sword attack option angelo will get, good dama ge, low mp cost, great attack) Miracle Sword (66) - Damage the enemy and heal yourself (again, since I didn't c over it in the hero's description, I'll do it here. hits 1 enemy for slightly mo re damage than a normal attack and heals yourself for about half of the damage d ealt. decent attack, adds some flexibility to the offense / support balance of y our team. good if only the hero or angelo need healing but the low damage of the attack (considering it costs 66 points for angelo and a whopping 82 for the her o) is a let down Gigo Spark (100) - A hell thunder attack against all enemies (the hero's best sp ear attack. hits all enemies for 190~220 damage. good damage, hits all enemies, the only set back with angelo is that the MP cost is a bit more demanding with h im (since he doesn't have the passive MP cost reducing skills the main character does). it's even more cost assuming since angelo is a go between healer and att
acker - the difference between him and the main character really rests on the MP cost reducing passive) <Angelo - Bow Skill> Laliho Arrow (6) - Magical arrow that can cause sleep to an enemy (hits 1 enemy for normal attack damage and has a chance to cause sleep for 2~5 turns. the succ ess rate of the sleep is pretty much the same as the spell version. good if you choose not to go with Jessica's sex appeal skill set and still need the sleep st atus ailment) Fairy Arrow (18) - A special skill that can absorb MP from target (hits 1 enemy for normal attack damage and absords 1/16th of the damage as MP. not too much MP .. but it's still really useful because of angelo's demanding MP usage. you'll a ppreciate this skill in longer dungeons or longer exploration trips since it doe s help in curing his lack of a huge MP pool) Needle Shot (25) - A magical arrow that can take down an enemy quickly (this att ack is a real disappointment. basically jessica's assassin attack except if it f ails to kill the enemy in one hit, you only deal 1 damage (which sucks). not too clear on the success rate, but it should be better than jessica's assassin atta ck) May Rain Strike (44) - Can cause consecutive strike on target (AMAZING SKILL. th e staple bow attack. basically the hero's may rain thrust except for bows. rando mly attacks enemies 3~4 times for 1/2 normal attack damage each time. great skil l 1 on 1 because it can hit up to 4 times for 1/2 damage each time.. GREAT SKILL ) Spiritual Arrow (66) - An upgraded version of Fairy Arrow (this is disappointing because it's not much of an upgrade. hits for the SAME amount of damage as the original version and only steals 2/16s of the attack damage dealt. worst. upgrad e. ever.) Shining Bow (88) - Uses light arrows to attack all enemies (this is pretty good for the amount of skill points used and kind of maskes how crappy the final skil l is. hits all enemies for 120~ damage (even though depending on the path you ch oose, this skill might become useless because angelo can have better options). d ecent when compared to his other options which are better (like giga spark) but good if you choose not to go those paths first) Needle Rush (100) - An upgraded version of Needle Shot (this is a let down consi dering its the final skill. basically needle shot 3~4 times in a row. I believe the percentage to instant kill is the same but it hits 3~4 times now. just like needle shot, if it fails to instant kill, you deal 1 damage. decent if you're up against enemies that are really packing it in the HP department - which happens to be a lot of the enemies that appear later in the game) <Angelo - Staff Skill> Manusa (3) - Make a group of enemies to fall into illsusion (spell has a chance to "blind" enemies for 5-8 turns. enemy weapon/physical attacks have a lower suc cess rate when blinded... decently useful against some hard hitter enemies that coincidentally have a weakness to this spell.. coincidentally) Mahoton (6) - Seal a group of enemies from using magic (just like the descriptio n, seals the enemy's magic for 7-10 turns. again, good for magic abusers, this a nd the above spell are better than they are because angelo has them, and because his speed is good enough to go 1st or 2nd in a lot of fights) Mahokanta (9) - Creates mirror that can reflect back magic (see jessica's Mahoka nta desciption) Mahotra (12) - Abosrb MPs from an enemy (this is great, again, even though speci alizing in staffs pretty much means angelo won't have to shoulder the offensive burdens, he still is less blessed in the MP department than jessica or even the hero is later on. this is good because it steals the enemy's MP (equation based on your level, meaning the higher leveled you are, the more you steal) and allow s angelo more lenience with MP management. Staff of Blessing (48) - Heals an ally (crap. utter crap. 48 skill points wasted . angelo is strong in the healing department. while this skill was useful for Je
ssica because she has no healing, this skill for angelo is a waste) Zarakima (56) - Can cause sudden death to all enemies (again, like the descripti on says, the spell has a chance to instant kill all enemies... the success rate is questionable as with all spells like this, but still, worth the gamble if you 're in a pinch) Baikirt (65) - Nearly doubles an ally's attack power (Jessica obtains this skill much earlier on and quite frankly, your party only needs 1 person spamming this spell. having angelo get it only loosens up the support rotation and allows mor e flexibility in selecting who buffs who, not very useful.. especially since it costs so many skill points and you get it so late) MP Auto Recover (100) - Recovers MP each turn when equips staff (I just had to i nclude this to convince everyone not to go with staves with angelo. at 100 skill points, he gets this pile of crap. useless. he gets mana steal, which, at a hig her level, covers all your MP needs.. this passive skill is completely worthless ... Jessica gets FULL REVIVE.. and Angelo gets this.. GREAT) <Angelo - Band Hands Skill> Justice Fist Thrust (35) - Charges and attack enemy with Justice Fist (see hero' s justice fist thrust description) Moonsault (42) - Fly up high and attack all enemies (see jessica's moonsault des cription) Great Defense (68) - Greatly reduce damage (see hero's great defense description - though, keep in mind that angelo gets this at 68 skill points.. which, compar ed to hero's 11 skill point cost.. ABSOLUTELY SUCKS) Miracle Moon (100) - Attack all enemies and heals HPs (upgraded Moonsault, kinda unfair Angelo got this and Jessica didn't, but jessica got madante which more t han makes up for it... so yea. when used against 1 target, hits for 2x normal at tack damage and as the number of targets increase, the damage drops. heals depen ing on the damage dealt to the first target... decent, WAY better than miracle s word.. so I guess that's an accomplishment seeing how this is barehands- but sti ll for a final skill, this is a little disappointing) <Angelo - Charisma Skill> Kiary (3) - Cures poison of one ally (useful money and time saving utility skill considering its low cost - good skill, definately worth 3 points) Medapani (7) - Can cause confusion to a group of enemies (same as jessica's sex appeal medapani - does what the description says) Sarcastic Laugh (13) - Lower one enemy's tension (okay, this might seem really a verage to some, but the usefulness of this skill is really not expressed enough. IT's FRICKEN VITAL WHEN LATER BOSSES ARE DOUBLE CHARGING TENSION. so yea, put y our points in charisma if only to get this skill because it's so important. late r bosses will double boost to 20 tension in a single turn and then to 100 in the next - so it's pretty important to stall them a couple turns and buy yourself s ome more time for healing/buffin/attacking) Look of Angel (19) - Can paralyze an enemy with charms (haha, funny skill, so ap propriate for angelo - hits for 15-28 damage which is nothing and occasionally c auses a 5-8 turn stun. not too great of a skill considering there are so many sk ills like this that dish the stun with a good amount of damage) Divine Spell (27) - Decreases a group of enemies' magical defense (not as useful as the defense dropper because the majority of massive damage in this game come s though physical damage, but still, a good set-up skill if you're really gonna smack it with magic) Pescatre (39) - Seals a group of enemies' dance for few turns (seals the enemy's ability to use dancing moves for a 6-9 turns. useful because angelo has good ag ility and it gets annoying when enemies start spamming dances later on... anothe r decent utility skill) Cold Smile (52) - Lower a group of enemies' tension (lowers an entire groups ten sion level by 1. not too much of a upgrade because the enemies that it becomes v ital to use this against are typically bosses - and bosses usually come alone. s till, vital. personally, I would've much rather had it drop the enemy 2 levels t
han target an entire group, but ahwell) Medapanima (66) - Can causes confusion to all enemies (upgraded medapani. has a chance to cause all enemies to enter confusion for 5-8 turns. the chance of conf usion is higher than the original version) Charming Look (83) - Attack all enemies with fearful yet charming look (targets all enemies for 65-85 damage and occasionally cause stun for 5-8 turns. the succ ess rate of the stun is higher than the original version. as a skill, again, thi s is only decent since most of the other stun skills bring a good deal of damage with the stun property) Grand Cross (100) - A light cross attack against a group of enemies (great skill , 180~220 damage to 1 group and deals 1.5x damage to zombies. takes the back sea t when compared to giga spark especially since they come in at around the same a mount of MP cost (grandcross is 20, giga is 25). really shines when put up again st zombies, really shines. overall, one of the better final skills in the game)
