How To Clear The HFM Metadata Completely

To clear metadata loaded into the HFM application, create an empty metadata file in the workbench client and select the option to clear all metadata before loading. This will load the empty metadata and clear out any existing metadata, resulting in errors when trying to open data grids as the application metadata will no longer be available.

How to clear the HFM Metadata

Example: Metadata loaded into HFM thats why it is showing metadata members in the Data Grid

Now go to workbench client and create an Empty Metadata file and save it

Now load the Empty metadata file and check the Clear all metadata before loading option

Click ok

Now Empty metadata loaded into HFM Application

To check the result open any grid you will get the below error

Application metadata is not available. Unable to create the grid.
