USSD Introduction
USSDUnstructured Supplementary Service Data ) : A kind of supplementary service in mobile network.
USSD can be regard as a transparent carrier in GSM network.
USSD Trigger mode: Dial *#SC*SI# SC is service access code, constructed by number 0~9, SI is service information, can be any content; the first * or # is leader char and the last # is close char.

Differences Between USSD and SMS
Transmission rate The transmission rate of the USSD is higher than that of the SMS.
Response speed USSD system will instantly responds the call requests of the subscribers. However the SMS need to store the message and forward it, therefore, the USSD has quicker response than the SMS.
Interaction The USSD is a connection-oriented system. In the data conversation, the USSD keeps the circuit connection, and it does not reset up channels. The SMS is a storage and forwarding system; therefore, the USSD has stronger interaction than the SMS

USSD Agent Features
Provide USSD Menu Configuration (Operator can configure its own service menu here). USSD Agent can also provide simple service logic configuration.
Through UAP Interface realize communication with USSDC. USSD Agent can translate subscriber request to other interface SP / CP support, e.g. smpp, http, etc.
For SP adopts UAP interface connecting to USSDC self support service, will be able to configure USSD menu in USSD agent module, and by ussd_switch message transfer to third party SP.
