Following freebies are offered with the sale of GSM based FWP's w.e.f 25.01.2010.

4200 minutes free On-net calls (Local/STD) at the rate of 350 minutes per month will be allowed over a period of one year along with the sale of GSM based FWPs available with BSNL. Free minutes allowed for a month is to be utilized in the month for which it is allowed & no carry forward will be allowed. The existing sale price of Rs.2100 will continue to apply. Sales tax/VAT as applicable on the sale of handset will be extra. All other terms and conditions will remain same.

The above tariff will be effective from 25.01.2010 . 3.0 Other Terms and Conditions

Uniform Grace period of 15 days is allowed for all value of cards. No additional grace period is allowed. No outgoing call is allowed during the grace period. The unutilized balance amount in the previous card can be carried forward in case of renewal within the grace period, otherwise it shall lapse. The GSM PCO holder has to arrange for the Fixed Cellular Terminal (FCT) inclusive of bill printing mechanism or GSM Terminal at his own cost. SIM and Recharge vouchers will be sold from the BSNL Customer Care Centre and authorized dealer i.e. Franchisee/BA/DSA. The GSM PCOs can be allowed to any person as per the existing terms and conditions for Landline PCOs. No security deposit in the form of cash/Bank guarantee etc. is required to be taken in the case of Prepaid GSM PCOs.

No service charge is allowed for intra circle calls. However for inter circle calls, considering stiff competition, the charging of service charge is not mandatory. The GSM based PCO holder will be allowed to move anywhere within the Licensed Service area. However, roaming facility should be barred. It may be made mandatory for such PCO holder to ensure BSNL branding prominently at the site. In case, such PCOs are installed in mobile Vans, the Van must have BSNL branding on both sides and top of the Van.

The MRP of Data RCV is inclusive of Service Tax @10.30%. Note:

Validity starts from the date of latest recharge. In case of Anant, the Life Time Validity means the License Period of the Operator . The License Period for Cellular Services of BSNL is 20 years w. e. f. 29.02.2000. However, the License is understood to be renewable further on its expiry. In case of Saral Ananth option III and IV, after the initial tariff validity of 365 days, the customer will be migrated to the existing base Saral Anant tariff plan During both the grace periods, no O/G calls shall be allowed except emergency (toll free) & IVR Calls, however I/C will be allowed. The unutilized balance amount of the previous card can be carried forward in case of renewal within the grace period, other wise it shall lapse. The SIM number can be re-activated with additional period of 165 days even beyond the grace period of 15 days for all Card values . However, in such case, the credit balance will lapse but the subscriber will not have to pay activation charges. With Flexi Top up and C-Top up, customers have freedom to choose any denomination, any time and at any where. The top up denomination ranges from as low as Rs. 10 up to Rs. 10,000. Basic price of these top-ups = MRPService Tax. In west Zone, one paisa / sec will be charged for both own network and other network (Intra circle calls and Inter circle calls)under FRC " 1 paisa / sec Option I. General Terms and conditions:-

In case of migration from 2G to 3G, the customer may continue with the existing 2G SIM without any charge or may opt for a new 3G USIM with higher memory for Rs.59. In case of migration from 2G prepaid to 3G prepaid, the unutilized account balance validity in 2G will be carried forward to 3G. Replacement of defective SIM/USIM will be free of cost to be made at CSC only, if the replacement of SIM/USIM is due to technical reason beyond the control of customer. However, if the replacement of SIM/USIM is due to customer negligence Rs.59 (Incl. of S.Tax) will be levied. In case customer wants new USIM, replacing the existing 2G SIM, the customer will also have to pay Rs.59.

Information/Requisite Promotional 3G Offers Customers purchasing 3G Data card from BSNL and activating the same will get free data usage of 6 GB per month as 1GB day/any time and 5GB night usage for two months from the date of activation as a promotional offer until further order. However, for getting validity the customer has to recharge with data recharge voucher or fixed monthly charges in case of postpaid connection. The free usage of 6 GB will be added to the free usage available with the data plan. No other freebies may be allowed for the above data cards. Incoming video call facility allowed to 2G customers with 3G enabled handsets will continue to be allowed until further order.

The validity in case of 3G prepaid RCV is 30 days. The RCV will increase both main account and dedicated account validity. The free minutes voice/video calls, SMSs and data usage offered with plan are to be consumed within the validity period. No carry forward of unutilized freebies are allowed. Free data usage is available while national roaming also. However, free voice/video calls & SMSs are available from home LSA only. Other charges and usage beyond free limits will be as per normal call charges i.e. base voice plan under 3G service. Free SMS shall be provided for local SMS only. BSNL Portal browsing will be free to customers On-net means Own Network (Mobile/Basic/WLL/CDMA), Off-net means Other Network (Mobile/Basic/WLL/CDMA) ISD tariffs for Voice calls will be as per 2G GSM. ISD Video calls are not available at present. The rates for all other items not covered above shall be as per 2G tariff. Existing Top-up vouchers and flexi top-up shall be allowed to the 3G voice and data prepaid plan also. The grace period GP1 and GP 2 for voice and data plans shall be as per prepaid 2G GSM.
