ABOUT ARC "Arakan Rohingya Counci (ARC)" is an association which acts for general welfare of Rohingyas. ARC was first initiated in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 2006 as Kyauk Taw Family by some peace and unity-loving people from Kyauk Taw, along the bank of the Kaladan River, (Ancient Dannyawaddy Kingdom), Arakan (now known as Rakhine State), Myanmar (Formerly Burma). ARC was first known as Kyauk Taw Family in 2006 and later in 2012 as Arakan Kyauk Taw Rohingya Council and finally in 2013, it was named as Arakan Rohingya Council to betterserve the whole Rohingya Community and Myanmar Muslim either in own mother land or in abroad. Our main objectives are to bring-about peace, unity and development to Arakan regardless of races, creed and religions. We envisage Arakan to be developed from all aspects including economy, education, social and politics. We are networking with various NGOs, INGOs, other international and local organizations, groups, individuals and people for the development, prosperity and elevation of the people of Arakan and we are willing to cooperate with any of nonviolent organizations which are forward looking for the betterment of Arakan and its people.
