The House will come to order. I am pleased to welcome you all to this semi-final/ final round of English Parliamentary Debate for school level. The topic of debate today is :.. On behalf of the House, I extend a special welcome to our Judges: 1.________________________________, 2.____________________________________, and 3._____________________________________

The Clerk of the House of Parliament is ______________________, and I, __________________________, am your Speaker of the House of Parliament. Before we start let me read to you the rules and the flow of the debate session

Debate Session The House of Parliament will start to meeting. The motion of today session is : 1.Now I call upon the Prime Minister to introduce the Bill, define the terms, and outline the Government case. Thank you to the Prime Minister. 2. We shall now hear the Leader of the Opposition Team. to deliver his /her speech. Thank you for your remarks. 3.I now call upon the first minister of the Government to deliver his/her speech.. After the Second Government Speech, say: 4.Thank you to the 1st minister. The 1st speaker of the opposition will now deliver the speech opposing the Bill. thank you to the 1st opposition speaker. 5. 2nd minister will now deliver his/her speech. Thank you 2nd minister. 6.Lastly we are going to listen the 2nd opposition speaker to deliver his/her speech.

Now we move to the rebuttal session. I will allow each team to prepare and plan the strategies before we start. 3 minutes start now.

Rebuttal session 7. the opposition team will start first. 3 minutes are given to you. You may start now.. thank you to the Opposition team, 8.and now call upon the government team to present the governments official rebuttal. After the Governments official rebuttal, say: the judges now will complete their scoring and discuss to select the winner and the best debater.
