DO SOMETHING WITH THE ANOINTING!

So I ask you to make full use of the gift that God gave you when I placed my hands on you. Use it well (2 Timothy 1:6 CEV). If youre born again and have received the Holy Spirit, youre anointed. Acts 1:8 says But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. The latter part of this scripture shows that the anointingthe divine power with which youre endued upon receiving the Holy Ghostis not for nothing. Its for you to be a witness; a proof producer of the resurrected Christ everywhere you go. It matters what you do with the anointing. In 1 Samuel 10:6, the Prophet Samuel told Saul that the Spirit would come upon him and turn him into a new man. In the next verse, he said And let it be, when these signs are come unto thee, that thou do as occasion serve thee; for God is with thee (1 Samuel 10:7). A common mistake many make after receiving the anointing is that they do nothing with it. Sometimes the Lord ministers special grace; an impartation to you at certain timesmaybe while youre present in a meeting, or even while praying on your own, you must recognize that anointing and do something with it. For example, thats when to proceed with any vision God has laid in your heart for your ministry or your business, career, family, finances, and so on. Thats when you ought to go back to those f aulty machines in your factory and say, Come alive, in the mighty Name of Jesus! Remember Samuels words to Saul after Saul received such an impartation; he said Do as occasion serve thee! In other words, whatever good you find to do at that time, go ahead, the Lord is with you. The anointing is not for you to be quiet or sit around doing nothing; do something with what youve got. The Bible tells us how Elisha, upon receiving the anointing, after Elijah was caught up to heaven by a chariot of fire, took Elijahs mantle and smote the River Jordan with it and the waters parted both ways for him to walk through on dry ground (2 Kings 2:9-14). He did something with the anointing he had received. Use what youve got; declare the Word in the power of the Holy Ghost! The anointing of the Holy Ghost upon your life is for you to do the impossible and live the supernatural life. Its for you to heal the sick, cast out devils and be an effective minister of the gospel. CONFESSION
