CRM Installation Steps:

1) Install Java and set environmental variable(JAVA HOME=installed path) 2) Set swap memory ((Ram*3)+4). 3) Restart system. 4) Oracle Setup Verify Below 5) Prerequisite before Export 6) Export from Old system - Verify below 7) Install NEW system Verify below 8) Post Installation Steps

Oracle Installation Steps:


Go-to Installation dump: G:\DUMP\Oracle_DBMS\NT\AMD64\sapserver.cmd

Oracle Patch:
Go-to Installation dump G:\DUMP\Oracle_patch_10.2.0.2.0\NT\AMD64\setup.exe

Export Activities:
1) Delete all update record using t-codes sm13

2) Cancel all Scheduled Job using SM37:

Goto T-code SE38 and run job BTCTRNS1:

Now go-to SM37 and check the status again:

Now select all Scheduled Job:

Now delete the job:

3) Check Operation mode timetable to make sure that no switching of operating modes takes during system copy using t-code SM63

4) Note down Logical Systems use t-code SCC4:

5) Delete QCM tables : go to t-code SE14

Choose Extras - >Invalid temp. table

Prerequisite before Export:

1) Delete QCM tables: go to t-code SE14

Choose Extras - >Invalid temp. Table

2) Generate DDL Statements: Go To t-code SE38:

Execute Program SMIGR_CREATE_DDL:

Choose Oracle and execute. If there is any DDL statement it will be saved in the provided location. Else there will be no file found.

Export from Source System:


1) Shutdown Sap system.

2) DB should be running.

3) Now Inst Master DVD to start sapinst.exe J:\51038621_11\BS_2005_SR3_SAP_Installation_Master\IM_WINDOWS_I386\s apinst.exe

Password : core5duo Error occurred

Start sap system

Give Ok

Error occurred:

Create a folder D:\usr\sap\CRM\SYS\exe\run and copy files from D:\usr\sap\CRM\SYS\exe\un\unI386

Now Stop SAP:

Add INSTANCE_NAME=DVEBMGS00 in Default profile per forum http://forums.sdn.sap.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1340403 and remove unwanted profiles from USR\SAP\CRM\SYS\Profiles

Install new system:


Start sapinst.exe from Inst Master dump G:\DUMP\Inst_Master_X86_64\BS_2005_SR3_SAP_Installation_Master\IM_WI NDOWS_X86_64\sapinst.exe

After ok system will log off. Once login SAPGUI automatically opens

Post Installation Steps: Go to t-code RZ10 and delete the Default, Instance & START profiles of your source system that is currently available in Target system.

It will request if need to delete profile. Give yes

Now activate profile of target system

And check the values that need to be included in Default, Instance & START profiles of target system comparing it with Source system. Check Oracle parameter of target system with source system by creating pfile using below command in both target system & source system. CREATE pfile= 'D:\test.ora' FROM spfile; If any parameter is missing in target system pfile then check it with below command if it is set as default one in target oracle. Show parameter optimizer_features_enable;

Run T-code SM28:

Go to T-code SE06:

Click Perform Post-Installation Actions

Now press yes

Go To STMS:

GO TO SE16:

Select All

Now go back and check the table again

Now follow the above steps for following tables ALSYSTEMS, DBSNP, MONI, OSMON, PAHI, SDBAD, SDBAH, SDBAP, SDBAR, DBSTATHORA, DBSTAIHORA, DBSTATIORA, DBSTATTORA.

If not able to perform the action using SE16 , then go to SE14:

Click EDIT:

Now go and check in SE16 as shown in above steps:

Go To T-code se38:

Now execute

Go To t-code SE38:

Now Go To Sm37:

Execute T-code SP12 and follow procedures in notes 16875 Delete entries in table DDLOG(Use Se16 or Se14 as shown in previous pages) Synchronize the buffers as described in SAP Note 36283 Adapt the RFC destination( Change the settings in different servers that have RFC connection to CRM) Login to solution manager: Ex: s40 Go to SM59:

In Above screen, change the settings for all CRM RFCs. ex see below Choose CRM TEST:

Now change IP-address. System Number and Logon & Security details:

Now choose connection test:

Also perform checks for Remote Logon, Unicode test & Utilities-> Test-> Authorization test. Perform the above for remaining RFCs in remaining systems.

Go To T-code SM58:

Goto t-code SECSTORE

To fix above issue follow the notes 1053954

Now execute t-code SECSTORE

I we receive an error SECSTORE031 then follow the note 816861 Delete all entries from table TLOCK Please follow the steps followed above in SE14/SE16

Go To T-code SMLG

Delete Entries of old system

Go To t-code SM54:

Please create entry similar to old system.

Go to t-code SM55:

Go To t-code SALE and SCC4 and check target system clients & Logica system are similar as Source system. Post-processing for customer objects: Check entries are similar between target & source system. Target System:

Goto T-code SM36:

Press Step

Now click SAVE

Now SAVE & Click save in below screen also

Go to t-code SM37 and check the status of the job:

JAVA POST INSTALLATION: Follow the procedure defined in note 831812 D:\usr\sap\CRM\DVEBMGS00\j2ee\configtool\configtool.bat

Now change the Gateway Host & Service and Application host according to our target system.

Go To STRUST:

For above OLD PSEs we need to reconfigure with new PSEs in 000 clients

D:\usr\sap\CRM\DVEBMGS00\j2ee\admin\go.bat.

Click connect

Now navigate to below path:

Now click Export.

Now move the file to backend server. Check in sapjsf has below roles SAP_BC_JSF_COMMUNICATION SAP_BC_USR_CUA_CLIENT_RFC Go To RZ10 -> Instance profile and check for below values. login/accept_sso2_ticket login/create_sso2_ticket icm/host_name_full 1 2 SAP-CRMv5.in.kres.keane.com

If any parameter is missing then add it using procedure followed on the top of the document. Now Go To t-code STRUSTSSO2:

If any key already available. Then delete it first. now click import certificate

Now choose the path of the saved file

Now log on to visual administrator and follow below steps. D:\usr\sap\CRM\DVEBMGS00\j2ee\admin\go.bat.

Click connect

Now navigate to below path:

And Choose SET Now goto Security Provider -> Policy Configuration in change mode

Choose ticket->com.sap.security.core.server.jaas.EvaluateTicketLoginModule

Choose Modify and fill below details

Now Navigate to below path:

Now select load

Now PSE is added:

Now restart the server

Now goto SM59 and create below RFC

Now save and test connection

Application Server Java (AS-Java): Refer link (https://cw.sdn.sap.com/cw/docs/DOC-22201). Else follow inst guide of ABAP+JAVA of CRM, if content server is installed. Else the step can be ignored CRM Java Components (JCRM): Sub-Component Workforce Deployment AS/CS is not required since SAP Workforce Management configuration has not been done in earlier system. MapBox is not required since not configured in source system.
