1 Corinthians 6:9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of

Busting Tips
As a single person, how can I overcome sexual sin?
Fornication is sex outside of marriage. This may be the question on your mind.
Depend first on God's power to overcome sin.
Ask God daily for the power to resist this temptation.
Provide no doors for sexual sin. Avoid music, novels, movies, etc. that glamorizes
promiscuous sex, as this will open your thoughts to this sin and weaken your resolve
against it.
Memorize a few of these scriptures, and speak them when you are tempted to fornicate.
Example: I resist the desire to fornicate for the Bible says...
Realize your body is too precious to be tainted by sexual sin. Thus, develop hatred
against corrupting your body through fornication Avoid extensive time alone with the
opposite sex.
Be involved with group activities. Limit association with those who try to pressure you
into sexual sins.
Associate yourself with single people of your sex who walk in sexual purity and integrity.
Ask for help from spiritually mature people when you are heavily tempted in this area.

This is my tip to overcome fornication/ lust. Since many people are attacked at bed-time,
the best thing I found to ward off wondering thoughts is to play a sermon cassette dealing
with whatever topic you choose to prior to going to bed. Even if you are too tired just too
really listen, this helps to keep your mind in check.
