Difference Is Wagered.: Was Wondering If Anyone Has Applied This Type of Betting Method To Trading?

Differential betting is a method where two betting progressions are applied to opposite outcomes, like red/black, and only the difference between the bets is placed. This allows gains if one outcome deviates from the other. The document provides an example where bets are placed based on the difference between a D'Ambert and anti-D'Ambert progression on red/black spins of a roulette wheel, resulting in a net gain over 33 spins. The method aims to profit from deviations between outcomes and avoid losses during balanced periods, suggesting it could be adapted into a hedging trading strategy.

Was wondering if anyone has applied this type of betting method to trading?

Differential betting is not a bet selection or a progression, because it can be used only if two chances are attacked at the same time. Differential betting can never be accomplished with flat bets, since all bets would be zero! The differential betting is only possible if two chances ( for example RED / BLACK ) are followed with a progression. Here for each chance the respective progression betsize is determined separately, however only the difference is wagered. The table below shows 2 progressions (P1 & P2) applied to BLACK and RED separately. The difference between P1 and P2 is determined for each chance, compared and then only the difference is placed on the respective chance. Here the first bet is placed on Red on SPIN 3, the bet is lost and the TOTAL is -2. The whole session is terminated after 33 spins with a gain of 38 units. Progression could be, for e.g, P2=D'Ambert, P1=Anti-D'Ambert

The session above reflects the original concept developed by the French roulette researcher Charles van Bockstaele.

A roulette permanence is goverened by two substantial laws : the LAW OF DEVIATION (Ecart) and the LAW OF BALANCE (Equilibrium). DEVIATION (Ecart): a deviation is the unequal frequency between two opposite chances in a section of a permanence. For example : if in the last twenty spins 14 red and 6 black numbers came out we have an Ecart on red. BALANCE (Equilibrium): the equilibrium of two opposite chances in a section of a permanence. For example 10 red and 10 black numbers within the last twenty spins. The system tends to be profitable if the permanence shows an Ecart and aims to have no losses if the permanence is balanced. Perhaps this betting system could make an interesting hedging EA
