I. Worship and the Kingdom

A.) A Kingdom of Priests-Exodus

19:5-7

"Now therefore, If you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be a special treasure to Me above all people; for all the earth is Mine. And you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation. These are the worlds which you shall speak to the children of Israel. So Moses came and called for the elders of the people and laid before them all these worlds which the lord commanded him."

God is the power; ours is the priviledge to praisefully invite His presence 2.) Psalm 18:3-" I will call upon the Lord who is worthy to be praised. So shall I be saved from my enemies." those most basic reason for our praise is He is worthy.

D.) Inviting God's Rule-Psalm 93:2- " Your throne is established from of old; You are from everlasting." 1.) God's Spirit is invited into any situation by praying. 2.) We are to welcome the kingdom and administrate situations on earth by inviting God's Spirit into our situations-this is done by praise and worship * praise brings the entry of God's kingdom today

E.) Wo~ship and Praise---Rev. 1:5-6

* We are to have an expectation of the

F.)Priority of Worship--I Peter 2:9-

"But you

are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation. His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light."

5.) We only experience promised power for evangelism and spiritual victories as we prioritize and grow in our worship of the living God. 6.) Kingdom power is kept from pollution this way---a kingdom people keep praiseful and worshipful before the king.

II. Prophecy and the Kingdom

A.) Old Testament-Possessing the KingdomDaniel 7:21-22- II I was watching; and the horn was making war against the saints, and prevailing against them, until the Ancient of Days came, and a judgment was made in favor of the saints of the Most High, and the time came for the saints to possess the kingdom."

1.) Saints possess the kingdom by steadfast battles with a mixture of victory and defeats with the final victory anticipated by Christ's coming. 2.) Daniel's prophecy spans the struggle covering the ages through Messiah's first and second coming.

B.) New Testament-Age Rev. 12:10-11

Long Warfare-

"Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now salvation and strength, and the kingdom of our God and the power of His Christ have come for the accuser of our brethern, who accused them before our God day and night has been case down. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death."

1.) This is an age long battle where the believer is supplied with resources for kingdom victories. 2.) John's prophecy in Rev. 12 conveys the same essential message as Daniel 7. 3.) Revelation 12:1-17 relates: a.) The on going warfare on the earth between the righteous and evil.---v9

b.) The overcoming ability of the redeemed because the "kingdom has come". c.) the 2 edged truth that their victories often cost martyrdom-v.11 d.) The basis of their truimph-the Crossthe blood of the Lamb and the authority of God's Word-the ---v. 12 word of their testimony

e.). We (the saints today) must realize that our wisdom is to embrace the Cross as our salvation f.) Rev. 12 provides established and source of victory. 2 indisputable facts:

4.) The kingdom to come (v.lD) shall become the kingdom accomplished---Rev. 19-22 5.) We must do battle in faith and look forward to that day when God's kingdom is a reality--knowing that God's Holy Spirit is preparing us for kingdom victories today.
