I. Worship and the Kingdom


A.) A Kingdom of Priests-Exodus

19:5-7

"Now therefore, If you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be a special treasure to Me above all people; for all the earth is Mine. And you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation. These are the worlds which you shall speak to the children of Israel. So Moses came and called for the elders of the people and laid before them all these worlds which the lord commanded him."

II. Prophecy and the Kingdom


A.) Old Testament-Possessing the KingdomDaniel 7:21-22- II I was watching; and the horn was making war against the saints, and prevailing against them, until the Ancient of Days came, and a judgment was made in favor of the saints of the Most High, and the time came for the saints to possess the kingdom."

B.) New Testament-Age Rev. 12:10-11

Long Warfare-

"Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now salvation and strength, and the kingdom of our God and the power of His Christ have come for the accuser of our brethern, who accused them before our God day and night has been case down. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death."

1.) This is an age long battle where the believer is supplied with resources for kingdom victories. 2.) John's prophecy in Rev. 12 conveys the same essential message as Daniel 7. 3.) Revelation 12:1-17 relates: a.) The on going warfare on the earth between the righteous and evil.---v9

b.) The overcoming ability of the redeemed because the "kingdom has come". c.) the 2 edged truth that their victories often cost martyrdom-v.11 d.) The basis of their truimph-the Crossthe blood of the Lamb and the authority of God's Word-the ---v. 12 word of their testimony

e.). We (the saints today) must realize that our wisdom is to embrace the Cross as our salvation f.) Rev. 12 provides established and source of victory. 2 indisputable facts:
