Always having learnt from the past, I live in the present with an eye on the future. It has always been my dream to learn as much as I can, not for just for an academic record, but for life, emerge as a knowledgeable person and spread it around as much as I can. This desire has motivated me to pursue Masters at your esteemed university. It has been my never quenching thirst to reach the zenith in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering technology. In this ever-changing world of technology, where each new day we discover a spate of new concepts and trends emerging, I always want to stay on the fast track. The Masters degree at your university would not only provide me the subject matter expertise, but also mould me as a thorough research oriented student capable of applying through innovation what I have learnt, thereby, paves the path towards my dream. I introduce myself as an undergraduate student specialized in Electronics and Communication Engineering at LAQSHYA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND SCIENCES. A leader knows the significance of present defeats for an astounding success in future. I learn by knowing and doing, and I learn from the challenges, obstacles and unrehearsed tasks. I try my best to foresee what the future is going to be, and what I need to do in order to succeed in that future. I not only have a vision but I complement it with planning and hard work. My friends say that I am an extrovert, good planner and creative in my activities and I also have a nevergive-up attitude which helps me to achieve my goals invariably. I work hard and sincerely to achieve good grades, which is very evident from my consistent grades. At the same time I am not a student who concentrates on studies alone. Apart from having academic proficiency, I have participated actively in many extracurricular activities like cultural, social service events and sports. I love sports, and I won many prizes in my childhood and in undergraduate program. Maintaining a right balance between academics and extra-curricular activities, I was actively involved in conducting seminars and guest lecturers for the department. My undergraduate course has given me a comprehensive knowledge of the basic areas in Electronics& Communication Engineering such as Electronic Device and Circuits, Micro Processors and Interfacing, Micro Controllers, Computer Organization, Programming
Languages, Computer Networks. I was involved in projects implementing the principles of
MATLAB and C. I am proficient in languages such as C, JAVA and packages like MS Office, and operating systems like MS-DOS, Windows XP, Vista, and Windows 7. While the undergraduate courses enabled me to grasp the fundamentals related to Electronics & Communication Engineering, they do not present an opportunity to thoroughly understand the technologies that are current within the industry. Therefore, while a Bachelors degree provides a sound alternative to taking a direct leap from schooling fundamentals to industry standards, it is still insufficient for an engineer to analyze the professional world. I feel the need to take up graduate study, as it would bring me closer to the kind of technical expertise I require to fulfill my professional desires. I am convinced that University of New Haven is the right place to construct academic career. Your eminent faculty, excellent research facilities, the courses offered in your university is very much likely to produce excellent results to the fields of my interest. Especially your University is a confluence of people from varied cultures and ideologies. I am sure that my exposure to these kinds of diverse influences would result in the overall development of my personality and help me broaden my concept from the narrower confines of nationalism to internationalism. I would therefore be very thankful if I am offered a beneficial association with your esteemed university with full financial support. In conclusion, I would like to say that if granted admission into your University I would perform to the best of my abilities and hope to acquire skills that will help me realize my dreams.
