For the past 2 months, Sam, Kaia, Suzy, and myself have been participating in preschool in the house 2 days a week. It has been a fun adventure of teaching and learning by all participating. Sam and Kaia show constant enthusiasm and really enjoy being together, playing games, reading books, singing songs, and creating crafts. ! I found a curriculum that incorporated standard preschool information as well as a biblical perspective! Its pretty amazing to see two two-year-olds recite Bible verses! Weve been learning an overview of colors, numbers, and letters as well as the story of creation, ne motor skills, and manners! Were having a blast! Please pray for wisdom in deciding what future schooling will look like for our family. Homeschool, public school, private school-there are many options!

Ems pregnancy and baby girl. The due date is approaching!

We are in the midst of training our next generation of facilitators. Please pray for the training and for them as they lead our retreat groups! The Alturas Interns. Jos is from Per, and Linda, Juan David, and Angie are all from Colombia. They are in our 10 week internship which focuses on spiritual disciplines, service, and discovering Gods call for their lives. Please pray for their time at El Refugio! We are so blessed to have them working with us.

Our fellow missionaries with whom we serve: Jim (pictured above) and Suzy Olsen, Paul and Beth Reichert, Ryan and Erica Coryell, Katelynn Camp, and Howard and Mary Scholl.

The groups that come to El Refugio. Pray that they would have an experience with their creator and that they would leave El Refugio empowered to live the abundant life in Christ.
