MEDIUM VOLTAGE SWITCHBOARDS
1) The compliance of a switchboard with a prototype may be documented
through design similarity of the switchboard in its entirety or of
individual components,provided that approved by the employer.
2) The dimensional check shall be limited to main dimensions and to those
relevant to installation, as well as to the position and dimensions
of cable ways and busways connections.
3) Test carried out at a lower voltage compared to that of the type
test in accordance with the reference codes. it shall be limited to industrial
frequency voltage test on interconnections with closed circuits.
