RECOMMENDATION
==============
This new installation of the FullProf Suite takes automatically
into account all thenew environment variables. IT IS
RECOMMENDED NOT TO USE DIRECTORIES WITH SPACES, TABS
OR NON-ASCII CHARACTERS IN THEIR NAMES. The non respect
of this prescription may produce a malfunction of the programs.
WARNING
=========================================
The file winplotr.set is modified by the present installation.
The old file (if existed) is renamed to winplotr_set.old. The
user can reinstall the old setting bycopying items to the new
file, respecting the new format and style.
=========================================
The present distribution of FullProf, WinPLOTR, GFourier, EdPCR,
etc... contains afull suite of crystallographic programs that
will be increased regularly. The differentprograms can be run
either in stand aloneform (from a console window or clicking
directly in a shortcut) or from the interfaces WinPLOTR and/or
EdPCR.
The installer "SetUp_FullProf_Suite.exe" has been created using
the QSetup compiler. This installer modifies the environment
variables directly from the registry. It is appropriate for
Windows NT/2000/XP. We have not tested Windows 95/98/Me but it
should work at least for copying all files in the appropriate
installation directory (by default C:\FullProf_Suite).
The installer creates the following directory structure:
C:\FullProf_Suite <- *.exe, *.set, *.dir... files
C:\FullProf_Suite\docs <- Manuals and documentation
C:\FullProf_Suite\examples <- examples
C:\FullProf_Suite\edpcr_htman <- HTML manual for EdPCR
C:\FullProf_Suite\IRF_files <- examples of IRF files
The programs within the FullProf Suite are distributed in the
hope that they will be useful, but WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY of
being free of internal errors. In no event will the authors (or
their institutions) beliable to you for damages, including any
general, special, incidental or consequential damages arising
out of the use or inability to use the programs (including but
not limited to loss of data or data being rendered inaccurate or
losses sustained by you or third parties or a failure of the
program to operate with any other programs). The authors are not
responsible for erroneous results obtained with the programs.
The authors acknowledge all suggestions and notification of
