IEEE INDUSTRIAL ELECTRONICS MAGAZINE is sponsored by the Industrial Electronics Society. The
Magazine, published in both printed and electronic versions, will be available to all IES members, with its
subscription included in the IES membership fee.
The IEEE Industrial Electronics Magazine publishes peer-reviewed articles that present emerging trends and
practices in industrial electronics, reports on products research and development, key insights presented by the
leaders from academia and industry, as well as tutorials and surveys covering the theory and applications of
electronics, controls, communications, instrumentation and computational intelligence in industrial and
manufacturing systems and processes.
The IEEE Industrial Electronics Magazine publishes:
• Features: mainly tutorials and surveys but also application-oriented papers
• Editor’s Column and IES President’s Column
• Book News: recent books are briefly reviewed in this department
• Educational News: a glance at IES educational activities
• Chapter News: IES chapters shows their activities in this department
• From Mind to Market: short articles presenting inventions and patents to enhance industry, environment
and bottom line
• Past & Present: key insights of theoretical advancements based on a well-defined background
• Society News: IES presents its activities
• Conference Calendar: IES sponsored and co-sponsored conferences are listed
• New Products: Companies are encouraged to submit a brief description of their new products for free !
• My View: it closes the Magazine with a glance to the emerging trends in industrial electronics

All the technical articles are peer-reviewed and respect the IEEE standard.
The IEEE Industrial Electronics Magazine will be available in the IEEE on-line library, IEEE Xplore.
IEEE Industrial Electronics Magazine readers promote the engineering process of creating, developing,
integrating, sharing and applying knowledge about electro- and information technologies and sciences for the
enhancement of industrial and manufacturing processes.
