An Abandoned Etiquette For Wearing Shoes

This document summarizes an abandoned etiquette for wearing shoes mentioned in a hadith of the Prophet Muhammad. The hadith states that one should put their right shoe on first and remove their left shoe first. It also says not to walk with only one shoe on or off. The document notes that many Muslims are ignorant of this sunnah today and some scholars argue it is a trivial matter, but it emphasizes the importance of following Islamic traditions and etiquettes fully. It criticizes some modern Muslim scholars and preachers for neglecting dress codes of the Prophet while promoting Islam.
