television show, radio broadcast, music album or theater performance
2. Producer: the person responsible for making sure an appealing, high-
quality movie is produced on time and within budget
3. Screenwriter: a person who writes a screenplay
4. Unit Production Manager: the Directors Guild of Americaapproved title for
the top below-the-line staff position responsible for the administration of a
feature film or TV production

for a movie, play, television program, or similar production

17.Art Director: the person who determines the staging requirements for a
production and often designs the sets or supervises their building and
dressing
18.Set Dresser: Set dressers arrange objects on a film set before shooting. They
work under the direction of a leadman, a set decorator and a production
designer
19.Props Master: an artistic and organizational employee in a film, television or
theatrical production who is responsible for purchasing, acquiring and/or
manufacturing any props needed for a production
20.Gaffer: the chief electrician in a motion-picture or television production unit
21.Best Boy Electrician: the lead electrician on set and is in charge of all the
other electrician, usually operates, adjusts and balances the electrical load
on the generator where required. This person is also responsible for
distributing the electrical cabling properly providing the required power to
each of the lights
22.Key Grip: the person in a film crew who is in charge of the camera
equipment.
23. Dolly Grip: a dedicated technician trained to operate the camera dolly. This
technician places, levels, and moves the dolly track, then pushes and pulls
the dolly and usually a camera operator and camera assistant as riders.
24.Special Effects Artist: works to create realistic and imaginative scenes for
mediums such as theater, television, movies and the Internet. Special effects
jobs usually fall into one of several broad categories including makeup,
computer graphics, trick camera work and mechanics
25.Visual Effects Artist: create special effects, animation and do visual clean-up
for feature films and commercials.
26.Editor: a person who edits material for films, publications, etc.
27.Production Manager: is responsible for managing the production and
regulating the costs of delivering the expected film or television show on
budget at the end of principal photography
28.Sound Recordist: Member of the sound crew responsible for operating the
audio recording equipment on a set.
29.Make-up/ Costume: arranges outfits for actors and applies make-up that fits
the scene and circumstances
