Greenbluf Harvest Tour

Friday, October 10

Celebrate the coming of fall colors and harvested food with us at Greenbluf. The Harvest festval will
be in full swing with fresh vegetables, fruits, desserts and MUCH more. All food is on your own. We
will stop at several farms; Harvest House, Hidden Acres and High Country for delicious treats. Trip
cost includes: Transportaton & Escort. HSC pick-up at 12:30pm.

Join your Director and friends from the HSC for a delicious breakfast at The Harvester in Spangle.
Enjoy the beautful drive, and have breakfast at a local cafe. Remember breakfast is on your own.
Hurry this trip flls quickly! Trip price includes Transportaton, and Escort. HSC Pick-up is at 9:30am.
Fall Foliage Island Cruise on Lake Pend Oreille
Friday, October 17

Beginning in east Hope cruise Lake Pend Oreille aboard the Shawnodese, and enjoy the spectacular
colors of the Fall season. Expect a lovely 2 hour scenic tour around the four islands of Hope including
Pearl Island (a bald eagle sanctuary). Youll also learn about the colorful history of the Hope Peninsula
& Islands. The cabin is heated for your comfort. Well eat lunch (on your own) prior to our cruise.
Trip price includes: Transportaton, Escort and Boat Cruise. HSC pick-up at 8:30am.
Ghosts of Spokanes Haunted Cemeteries
Saturday, October 18

Well take a tour of Spokanes most haunted and infamous cemetery ghost grounds. At Greenwood
Memorial Terrace we will visit the Ghost Gheto, the Thousand Haunted Steps, Anthony Cannons
unsetled grave, and the mysterious sealed railroad tunnel. In Riverside memorial cemetery we will
visit the beautful and creepy Riverside mausoleum, the mysterious grave of Spokane spiritualist Cora
Kincannon Smith, and the grave of Reverend John G. Lake. This tour will get you in the Halloween
spirit! Trip price includes: Transportaton, Escort, and 2 hour bus-tour. HSC pickup is at 11:30am.
Casino Trip to Chewelah

The drive to Chewelah is beautful, gambling is fun, and when you are fnished relax in their caf. The
breakfast and lunch menu are delicious and the prices are reasonable (on your own) Register early
for this trip, it flls quickly! Trip price includes: Transportaton, and Escort. HSC pickup is at 9:00am.
Halloween Masquerade Party/ Carriage Rides / Barn Dance
Wednesday, October 29

Do not miss the Ghouling fun and Ghostly excitement at our annual Halloween party. It will be held at
the Central Grange on Biglow Gulch, from 11:00am to 3:00pm. music will be provided for your danc-
ing pleasure. Other creepy features will be; Horse & Carriage rides; a delicious luncheon; wonderful
costume prizes for Scariest, Funniest, Cutest & Best Look Alike, door prizes and lots of games.
Trip price includes: Transportaton, Admission, Entertainment, Carriage Ride and Lunch. HSC pick-up
at 10:30am.
