Venture Design Services: Mechanical design and development of low cost, portable,
data acquisition receiver.
Motion Analysis Inc: Thermal analysis and design improvements of current product
designs. Mechanical design of next generation digital camera with high power
dissipation in a no fan design.
RenCon Energy Products: Mechanical design and development of LED light engines
and LED light fixtures. Designed and specified electronic driver devices. Two
pending patents in LED lighting and control.
Agilent Technologies: Three separate projects including; high density modular
instrument design, multi channel precision test head design and custom rack work.

Assembled and led teams of suppliers engineers and consultants to design LED light
engines, light fixtures, electronic control systems and solar panel mounting hardware
for initial products.
Applied for patents (now pending) for electronic skylight invention and unique
lighting control electronics that merge available solar power with line AC power to
create constant light output from system.
Created international supply chain to minimize cost while maintaining flexibility and
fast response.

Agilent Technologies, Santa Rosa, CA 1999 2003
Led mechanical platform design and development for Signal Sources Division, which
had annual sales in excess of $300 million.
Designed all mechanical aspects of award winning Microwave Source including;
structural, thermal, airflow, shielding, serviceability and microcircuit package design.
Awarded stock option bonuses 5 times for exceptional performance
Awarded patent for surface mount RF connector.
Mechanical Development Engineer, New Product Design
Hewlett Packard, Santa Rosa, CA 1988 1999
Led product design activities for a revolutionary RF digital source platform. Team
set division record for new product platform development time.
Invented new shielding method for PC boards that set high performance standards
with a low manufacturing cost.
Designed a wide variety of hybrid microcircuit packages including; YIG oscillators
and filters, 65 GHz, high power and low cost packaging.
