Power and Water
Maintenance 2014
WHO WILL YOU NETWORK WITH:
Event overview:
Utility companies typically make substantial annual investments on maintaining, repairing
or replacing their assets. The majority of these functions were implemented at frequently
scheduled intervals and run to failure. However, due to increasing regulation of the utility
sector in the region and the need to optimise and improve costs, local electricity and water
companies aim to comply with global asset management standards to optimise business
results and benchmark against international companies. In addition, there is a gradual shift
from time and frequency-based maintenance approaches to condition-based, preventative
methods in order to optimise the life-cycle of the asset.
Power and Water Maintenance 2014 has been designed for:
Utility companies (generation/transmission/distribution)
Oil and gas or petrochemical companies and operators licensed to generate and supply
their own electricity and/or water
Industrial manufacturing and processing companies
With the following job functions and responsibilities:
By optimising asset management strategies, the performance and return for all stakeholders
can be maximised. Part of achieving this, is to create a coordinated replacement, maintenance
and repair strategy. Improving the reliability of assets is a key consideration for operational and
technical management. To ensure resources are allocated correctly, it is critical to maintain
data and records.
Register for Power and Water Maintenance 2014 to be part of the event that will help shape
the future of the regions utility industry!
