Industrial / In-plant Training for Engineering students.
As you all know TELECOM now-a-days is the most happening sector and the Engineering Graduates of
ECE, ETM, IT etc., branch are required to get acquainted themselves with the latest developments in the telecom
sector in order to keep pace with the technological developments in this sector.
In view of above, in order to make them conversant with the latest developments in the telecom sector,
Regional Telecom Training Centre (RTTC), BSNL, Gachibowli, Hyderabad is conducting Industrial/In-plant
Training for Engineering students on Familiarization of latest Telecom technologies. RTTC also offers Basic
inplant training for CSE/ IT students with the contents related to Computer, IT field.
RTTC, Hyderabad is an ISO 9001:2008 certified prestigious telecom training centre in Southern Region and
its campus at Gachibowli spread in about 40 acres of land is equipped with modern infrastructure to impart training
at global standards in a most conducive environment, having many laboratories containing not only latest telecom
switching, transmission equipments, GSM equipment and computer & networking laboratories, but also has a
facility to extend training on live systems wherever the training needs demand.
Objectives
To give an overview to the range of telecommunication technologies
To give an exposure to working/live telecommunication equipment deployed in BSNL
To prepare the students for selecting the areas of their choice to enter the telecommunication industry

Full Time sessions on Theory/Labs/Installation visits, Self-Study, Assignment, Evaluation, Certification
Duration & Period of batches conducted.
Formal focused Training at Well equipped Training Center with in-plant/ industrial trainings:
In-plant/ Vocational Training in Basic Telecom - for 2 weeks of 18 Hours duration,
In-plant/ Vocational Training in Advanced Telecom - for 4 weeks of 36 Hours duration.
In-plant/ Vocational Training in Advanced Telecom with specialization - for 6 weeks of 54 Hours duration
Basic Inplant Training on CSE / IT Platform - for 2 weeks of 18 Hours duration,
(The hours mentioned against each course are spread over the duration of actual training period)

* Note: The period of certification is subjected to fulfillment of the rules and regulations of RTTC-Hyderabd.
Who Can Apply
2nd / 3rd Year Engineering students of of Electronic & Communications Engg, or Electrical & Electronic
Engg or Electronics & Instrumentation and also Computer science / IT students can apply with Permission
from College or can do Voluntarily.
In case of mandatory Industrial / in plant training as part of curriculum, please submit the permission letter
from college.
How to Apply
Download the Registration form, from the website. Duly submit the same to the address mentioned under
contacts/ correspondence along with the Registration Fee and Training Fee (Follow any one of the following
Mode of Payment) and with the other documents as mentioned below.
Documents to be submitted at the Time of Admission
1. Duly Filled Application Form along with Photo Affixed on it.
2. One Passport Size Photo (Write The Name, College and applying batch number on backside)
3. College ID Card Xerox
4. Original College Permission Letter.
If the student Voluntarily applies i.e. without college permission for training they
should affix a Xerox copy of Address & Photo ID Proof.
Course Fee (For Non BSNL Indian Students) and Payment Modes
Registration Fee:
Rs.100.00 + Service Tax (12.36%) [Non-Refundable] i.e. `. 112/Training Fee:
Basic Telecom Rs.3, 000 + Service Tax (12.36%) [Non-Refundable] i.e. `. 3,371/- per each student
Advanced Telecom Rs.6, 000 + Service Tax (12.36%) [Non-Refundable] i.e. `. 6,742/- per each student
Advanced Telecom with specialization Rs.9, 000 + S.Tax (12.36%) [Non-Refundable] i.e. `. 10,113/- per each student
Mode of Payment: Payment of registration and course fees can be made in any of the three following modes

Payment can be made by cash/DD drawn in favour of Accounts Officer (Cash), BSNL, RTTC,
Hyderabad, at the cash counter of RTTC, Gachibowli.
Payment in the form of DD drawn in favour of Accounts Officer (Cash), BSNL, RTTC, Hyderabad
along with the registration form can be send through speed post to the Principal, RTTC,
Gachibowli, Hyderabad-32.
Amount can be remitted to the account of RTTC at Corporation Bank, Gachibowli, Hyd to
Account No. 104901601000005, Bank MICR code: -500017025, Bank IFS Code: CORP0001049
through (a) e-banking/EFT or (b) at any bank.
The candidates opting for the above option (3), should send an e-mail to [email protected]
giving the particulars like (a) name, (b) course name, (c) dates of course, (d) mobile number (e)
fee remittance particulars (f) Completely filled registration form as an attachment
Note: Fee once paid will not be refunded or transferred.
Hostel Facility (Optional)
Lodging & Boarding Charges = Rs.163 per Trainee per day on Triple Sharing basis (Hostel facility is provided during
the actual training period and subjected to availability only) in RTTC campus

Handouts on the topics (at Training Centers), Reference Compilation of Topics, will be issued In the form of CD to the trainees.
Certificates
Appropriate certificate will be issued for each student along with performance assessed through examination conducted at RTTC, Hyd,
after completion of the course as per the rules and regulations of the BSNL, RTTC.
The students can collect the certificates by Hand. If the student desires to get the certificate by post, self addressed A4-size cover duly
stamped ( `. 17/- within Hyderabad & `. 39/- outside Hyderabad) has to be submitted on the first day of training at RTTC- Hyderabad.
Note: The BSNL RTTC, Hyd., Reserves the right to postpone any of the above scheduled batches. In that case the
student opted will be better placed in the next batches. But in no case money will be refunded.
