NY Brown Swiss Association Minutes
Saturday, August 30, 2014
We had a very short meeting with the meeting being called to order by President Teri Martin at
5:25 pm at the Syracuse Fairgrounds with 30 members present.
Reports:
The motion was made to dispense with the minutes from the previous meeting. Motion was
seconded and carried.
Kerri Bartlett reported that there was $2,648.84 in the youth account and $8,627.18 in the
regular account.
The NYBSA merchandise is going to Joyce Reinhardt and she will be in charge of it.
The calf sale chair is Mike Reinhardt for the spring calf sale.
National Report: Registrations are down but there are a lot of new members.
We put a bid in for the next open National Convention which is in 2019 that would be held in
Niagara Falls. Jeff True made the motion and Mike Reinhardt seconded. Motion was carried.
Suggested Judges for next year are: Keith Topp, Joe Sparrow and Jeremy McDonald.
A motion was made to adjourn the meeting at 5:55. It was seconded and carried. Meeting
adjourned.
