DGCA Pilot License Exam Manual 2012

The Director General of Civil Aviation has announced that pilot license examinations for categories including PPLG, CPLG, CPLCG, ATPLG, and ATPLCG will now be conducted online from the January 2012 session onward at testing centers in Delhi, Mohali, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Thiruvananthapuram. Candidates must apply for a computer number and roll number online between January 12-23, 2012 through the website http://www.udaan.nic.in. The printed application form along with required documents must be sent to the Director of Airworthiness within 10 days. Incomplete or incorrect applications will be rejected without communication

Subject: ONLINE Application for Pilot License Examination Jan 2012 Session.
Director General of Civil Aviation has decided to conduct, online (Computer
based) Pilot License Examination Jan 2012 session for all categories of Pilots PPLG /
CPLG / CPLCG / ATPLG / ATPLCG (General papers) with immediate effect (October
2011 session onwards) at Delhi, Mohali (Chandigarh) Mumbai, Kolkata, Bangalore,
Chennai Hyderabad and Thiruvanantapuram Centers. However, the examination for
Technical papers (Technical General / Technical Specific / Performance) shall continue
to be held under OMR system. Candidates desirous of appearing for examination (Both
General & Technical papers) are required to file their application for allotment of
computer number (except those candidates who are already issued with Computer
Number) & subsequently for roll number ONLINE under http://www.udaan.nic.in . The
revised instruction (Issue I, Jan 2012) for filing the application ONLINE and the
requirements to be fulfilled by the applicant while applying for both computer number &
roll number are published in http://www.dgca.nic.in & http://www.udaan.nic.in.
The candidates can submit their application for allotment of Roll Number for
Pilots License Examination January 2012 Session from 12th Jan 2012 to 23rd Jan
2012. The signed printout of the filled application form, along with required documents
should reach the Director of Airworthiness, Central Examination Organisation, O/o
Director General of Civil Aviation, Government of Indian, East Block III, R K Puram,
New Delhi 110066 by Speed / Registered Post within 10 days from the day online
submission of application. Incomplete applications or applications received with
wrong and / or DD details not matching with the details as mentioned in the
application shall be summarily rejected and no further communication in this
regard shall be entertained. The DD shall be drawn in favor of PAO, DGCA, MCA,
New Delhi, Payable at New Delhi.
For ONLINE (General Papers) and OMR based (Regular - Technical papers)
examinations candidate should apply separately and submit the printout of the online
submitted applications with separate DDs. Combined / single consolidated DD is not
acceptable for both General & Technical examinations.

available for the above said purpose only on working days between 1000 Hrs. and 1700
