Tommy Chan has three (sister, sisters). They
are Amy, Cindy and Susan. Tommy is seventeen years

Amy is three years (old, older) than him.

of seven years between the oldest and the youngest
girl in the Chan's family. Like Tommy, they are tall
and thin but the similarity stops there.

Cindy and Susan go for ballet (class, classes). Amy and
Tommy go for piano lessons. Cindy used to go for piano
lessons but she stopped when (she, he) injured her right

when the doctor told her that she could not play the piano
again. She decided to go for ballet instead.
Even though Tommy and his sisters quarrel among
themselves , they are always together. They go holidays

was always beside her to cheer her up. Indeed, the Chans
are a happy family.
