End User Training
Training
The Solution for Training was created specifically to support the content and rollout of Pastel Evolution at
[Customer name].
In order to support the training efforts, a Change Management Communication Guide is included in the
Pastel Evolution methodology toolset.
Goals of End User Training
Successful end user training is one of the key success criteria for the Pastel Evolution implementation
project. The goal of end user training is to give each end user a detailed understanding of Pastel Evolution
and the ability and readiness to independently navigate through the system. End users have to be prepared
to use Pastel Evolution for daily productive business transaction processing in their area.
Training Content
End-user training can be provided either in a classroom setting, as e-learning courses provided by Pastel
Evolution, or in one-on-one sessions. The exact training sessions and end user should participate in
depends on their role and responsibilities in the organization. Duration and training needs are highly depend
on exact tasks the user will perform and previous software expertise.

End user training will be held from MM/DD/YYYY to MM/DD/YYYY from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm. A detailed
training plan and materials will be provided during the course.

The following materials are available for end user training:
PowerPoint presentation about system functionality available on the Partner Portal. The
presentation can be edited as needed
End user documentation (Business process procedures)
Exercises and solutions - available on the Partner Portal. Editing will be necessary if you wish to use
the customers test system.
Pastel Evolution e-learning courses available on the Customer Portal
End User Training Environment
End user training can be conducted at the customer site working with the customer test system on customer
equipment.

Administrator Training
Training
This training solution was created specifically to support the content and rollout of Pastel Evolution at
[Customer name].
In addition to the Pastel Evolution administrator training, we recommend that the technical team attend
courses at one of the Pastel Evolution training centers to include general system and database
administration.
Goals of Administrator Training
Successful administrator training is crucial for the initial implementation of Pastel Evolution and especially for
the smooth ongoing operation of the system. The goal of administrator training is to give the administrator
the ability to independently perform routine database and system maintenance tasks, apply system patches,
provide first level user support, and troubleshoot the system. As a result, we recommend that the
administrator also attend all or part of end user training.
Training Content
Administrator training can be delivered in a classroom setting, as e-learning courses provided by Pastel
Evolution, or in one-on-one sessions. If training will be delivered in a classroom, administrators should attend
the following training sessions.
