Objectives :
By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to:
pronounce words and speak confidently with the
correct stress, rhythm and intonation.
Activities :
1. Sing a song. Have pupils sing Down A Busy
Lane with the teacher.(t/book pg 43)
2. Teacher encourage the pupils to hold up the
number of fingers that corresponds to the number
they are singing.
3. Display the numbers with the pictures 1-10 and
point to the corresponding number as the song is
sung. (Appendix A)
4. Pupils count aloud the number of animals in the
pictures and will indicate along with the song how
many of that animal is on the farm. (textbook pg
44). Teacher will assist pupils by having pupils
place their finger on the animals as they count
them.
5. Display animal picture. Count together with the
pupils (Appendix B)
6. Divide the class into 2 groups. One group asks
the question How Many? And the other group
answers depending on the flashcard, which shown
to them.
7. Play a game Go Fish. Using two sets of card
number; have the pupils play Go Fish. They need
to read their card and ask another pupil if they
have the same cards number.B4DL1E1(Appendix

8. Ask pupils to do exercise in the activity book pg:
45.
