Control Engineering Fast Track Semester 2015

Assignment 1 Root Locus & Bode Plot

Note: i) This assignment carries 6 marks. Each problem solved completely & correctly will fetch halfa-mark. ii) This assignment should be submitted on or before 06/07/2015. Those who do not submit the
assignment on this date will not be allowed to take up Fast Track-Test 2. iii) All the calculations should
be done on a fair sheet and the plots (both root locus & bode) should be done on graph sheets. iv) The
corresponding calculations sheet and graph sheet should be ordered correctly and stapled together. v)
Write your Name & USN on the first page. vi) After solving all the problems, using your smart phones,
scan them (all the pages, including the graphs). An app like CamScanner could be used to scan all the
pages and to convert them into a single pdf file. vii) Upload the pdf (by clicking "Turn In" button) on
Edmodo. viii) Also, submit the hand-written assignment personally to me. ix) Both submissions are
absolutely necessary. Failing which, the marks for this assignment will be graded as zero.
