ofouracademiccourse,Ididnthavetodedicateextratimetoitduringmysemesters.However,Ikeptdoingmy
revisionsatregularintervalsattheendofeverysemesterduringthesummerandwintervacations,alongwithsome
extraportionswhichweremissedduringthesemestercourse.
IhaveahabitofmakingnotesofeverysubjectIstudyandthisprovedtobeveryhelpfulduringrevisions.Thesubjects
thatwerecommoninGATEandmyacademiccoursehoweverreceivedextraimpetusandattention.

AsIhavementionedalready,IusedtoprepareespeciallyduringthesemesterbreakswhenIusedtoallocatearound34
hoursonanaverage.Butafterthefirstsemesterexamofmy4thyearwasover,Ihadonly45daysleftbeforetheD
Day.SoIputinextraeffortsthentherebyincreasingmystudyhoursto8hrsaday.Duringthisperiod,Ihadprepareda
gistofalltheimportantformulas,tipsandtrickswhichreducedtheentiresyllabustoaround50pagesandwithitshelp
IstartedgivingonlineMockTestsregularly.

asIbelievethatsomeMCQssometimestendtobequiteambiguoustherebyconfusingthestudent.Numerical
questions,ontheotherhand,haveadefiniteanswerandhencearemoredeterministic.
AsIhadalreadysaidthatIhadpreparedagistofformulas,tipsandtrickswhichcameinhandyinreducingtime.
Besides,Ifeelthereisnospecialpreparationrequiredfornumericaltypequestionsaslongasyouhaveaclearconcept
ofthesubjects.
