Separation Test for Modified Bitumen as per
IRC SP 53-2010 The equipment will have
following special features: Oven Capable of maintaining ambient to
300C.
Freezer Capable of maintaining 6.7 5C
Design to test three specimens
simultaneously.
Mould for separation test- Split mould made
up of aluminium capable of holding three
samples of modified bitumen in vertical
position at 163 5C for 48 hours.
Mould should be equipped with gasket to
avoid leakage.
Minimum height of the split mould should be
136.7mm and diameter 25.4mm.
Ductility Testing Machine as per IS:1208
designed to test ductility test for viscosity
grade bitumen and elastic recovery test of
modified bitumen as per IS:15462 (Annex
A)
Motor driven unit to ensure constant speed
of 5 cm/min and continuous operation.
The entire assembly mounted in a metal
encased water bath.
Temperature control unit ranging from 10oC
to 40oC with digital display system.
Suitable for operation on 220V, 50 Hz and
single phase AC supply.
