Project Manager (WJHTC)
Lead a team of 40 in support the Laboratory Engineering Group (ANG-E12) managing task orders issued by
the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) customers.
Provide systems engineering support for all NEXGEN labs.
Support various NAS Terminal and En-Route support systems including NVS, NEXCOM, CCCS, ETVS,
RDVS, STVS, and VSCS.
Leverage knowledge of FAA standards, guidelines, specifications, and requirements to develop test program
documentation.
Create test plans, reports, and procedures and support NAS site testing at the Air Route Traffic Control
Centers (ARTCC). Supervise, train and mentor junior staff.
Provide support to the Laboratory Engineering Group (LEG) System Engineering with evaluating, preparing
and developing new Labs for NEXGEN. Support the interconnection of all NAS laboratories at the WJHTC
including ADS-B, SWIMM, TFMM, Capstone, and OASIS.
Deliver engineering expertise to configure routers, switches and CISCO equipment, enabling LAN/system
interconnectivity for various systems within WJHTC.
Present systems level Design Test and Evaluation / Operational Test and Evaluation (DT&E/OT&E), on
Standard Terminal Automation Replacement System (STARS) and the Voice Switching and Control System
(VSCS) that support both Terminal and En-Route operations within the NAS.
Test STARS including the new Peripheral Component Interconnect (PCI) hardware upgrade/software and all
associated NAS Air Traffic Control (ATC) software.
Facilitate project management and communications interface for the BYTEX and Laboratory Data Distribution
engineering team.
Oversee the performance of team members with expertise in engineering, infrastructure, Configuration
Management (CM), drafting (Auto CAD), and cable management.
Develop project schedules for the Automatic Dependent Surveillance - Broadcast (ADS-B) and overall NAS
installation schedules for NEXTGEN projects.
