No exam may be taken early. If a student misses school for sickness or by choice (vacation), he/she must make arrangements
to take the exam during the summer. All late arrivals and/or early dismissals must be requested in writing by a parent
and submitted to the high school office when signing out.

MISSION SERVICE HOURS: Each student at DCHS is privileged to meet hours of mission service
per year. The DCSS Parent/Student Handbook states, “It is our desire to help our students gain a Christian
worldview, to be encouraged to experience a close walk with God and to bring glory to Him through their
ministry. The missions/service requirements provide this opportunity”.
Did you know that our high school students volunteer over 10,000 hours each year?
WARM WEATHER CAUTIONS: with the warm temperatures and sunshine remember to
drink plenty of water. You may also bring water bottles to class with you.
ATTENTION: For Parents with students who will need prescription medication for Diabetes,
Allergies, Inhalers, etc. These forms will be available in the clinic. Please pick this up before
the last day of school to have completed for the First day of school in Aug. Students will
NOT be permitted to carry Epi pens or inhalers without proper paperwork and without a
back up medication kept in the clinic.
*The Clinic Staff is very thankful to everyone that has so generously donated their time to
work in the clinic, help with vision and hearing screenings, donated the needed supplies,
and for the many prayers covering the clinic this year! You have truly been a blessing to us
and the students.
In HIS Love,
Your Clinic Staff
