Recommendations of Package-02 (HVAC and Clean Room)
1. Complying with URS requirements and the deficiencies mentioned above, Telstar and Cord-01 may be selected as a short listed vendor for package 02.
2. QTS didn't provide all necessary information (Filled up Excel Sheet) needed for technical evaluation and draw conclusion.
3. Cord-02, Sunscape, Brownfield, Elomatic, Nicomac and Gusu are not recommended to be shortlisted beacuse of following major technical reasons:
a. Cord-02. DDC based HVAC control system, ramp hinged clean room doors not offered.
b. Sunscape and Evercool. DDC based HVAC control system, didn't offer special equipment (pass box, dispensing booth), chiller, cooling tower, chilled water
and HVAC heating water generation and distribution.
c. Brownfield. Didn't offer clean room, special equipment (pass box, dispensing booth), HVAC and HVAC control system. Their offered majority of the
components (valves, electromagnetic flow switch, hot water generation system, pumps, pressure gauge, pressure transmitters etc.) are from India, which is not
technically acceptable in terms of quality, performance, longevity and reliability.
d. Elomatic. Offered chiller didn't comply with URS, didn't offer cooling tower and special equipment (pass box, dispensing booth). Their offered majority of the
components (valves, electromagnetic flow switch, hot water generation system, FCU, heat exchanger etc.) are from India, which is not technically acceptable in
terms of quality, performance, longevity and reliability. Elomatic is mainly a design, consultancy and engineering firm, with very limited project execution
experience.
e. Nicomac and Gusu. Initially offered partially, later they didn't respond.
Note to Vendors: After being short listed, vendors should agree to modify the design (where needed) as per our changed layout and they should review the design
to optimize as per current scope of work.
