2Checks on camshaft axial clearance
When the axial spacing is measured with a clipper to be larger than the benchmark value, the camshaft is to
be replaced.
3Check the camshaft gear join clearance
Insatll the camshaft into the cylinder head ,
ascertain the bearing cover front mark and shaft dia
number , tighten the bolt and fix the air intake
camshaft. Use the dial gauge to measure the gear join
clearance.
Single gear : benchmark value 0.04~0.13mm
limit value :0.30mm
Attension: there are four measuring place at
the gear circle; operate when the marks on the drive
and driven gear inosculate with each other. (As

2Checks on the clearance between the throttle guiding pipe and throttle thrusting rod
Use a dial gauge to measure the inner diameter of the throttle guiding pipe, and use a caliper to measure the
outer diameter.
3 Work out the differences of the measured values. If it is above the specified limits, the throttle or the
guiding pipe must be replaced.
Attention The measurement points are shown as the figure2-60. Work out the clearance of the final torn and
