Arthur F. Piggott v. Christopher R. Webb, Warden F.L. Bogart, R.N., 929 F.2d 694, 4th Cir. (1991)

This document is a court case summary from the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. It affirms the district court's denial of relief to Arthur F. Piggott under 42 U.S.C. Sec. 1983. The appeals court reviewed the record and district court opinion and found the appeal to be without merit. It therefore affirms the lower court's ruling based on the reasoning in that court's December 31, 1990 decision. The appeals court chose not to hold oral arguments as the relevant facts and legal issues were adequately explained in the materials provided.

Arthur F. PIGGOTT, Plaintiff-Appellant,
v.
Christopher R. WEBB, Warden; F.L. Bogart, R.N.,
Defendants-Appellees.
No. 91-6501.

United States Court of Appeals, Fourth Circuit.

Submitted March 4, 1991.
Decided March 21, 1991.

Appeal from the United States District Court for the Western District of
Virginia, at Roanoke. James C. Turk, Chief District Judge. (CA-90-91-R)
Arthur F. Piggott, appellant pro se.
Jeanette Dian Rogers, Office of the Attorney General of Virginia,
Richmond, Va.; Edward Meade Macon, McGuire, Woods, Battle &
Boothe, Richmond, Va., for appellees.
W.D.Va.
AFFIRMED.
Before WIDENER and K.K. HALL, Circuit Judges, and BUTZNER,
Senior Circuit Judge.
PER CURIAM:

Arthur F. Piggott appeals from the district court's order denying relief under 42

U.S.C. Sec. 1983. Our review of the record and the district court's opinion
discloses that this appeal is without merit. Accordingly, we affirm on the
reasoning of the district court. Piggott v. Webb, CA-90-91-R (W.D.Va. Dec.
31, 1990). We dispense with oral argument because the facts and legal
contentions are adequately presented in the materials before the Court and
argument would not aid the decisional process.
AFFIRMED
