7 Kinds of Happiness

Nature happiness: This is the kind of joy that can be derived from the
creation, the happiness we experience through our physical senses when we
encounter Gods creation. Mountains, rivers, lakes, trees, flowers, animals,
seasons, weather, food, etc., all of them and much more can put smiles in
our heart and on our face.
Social happiness: We find so much wonderful pleasure in our family and our
friends. Relationships of different kinds and degrees are so integral to a
happy life.
Vocational happiness: Although our jobs can often frustrate us, we also
experience much job satisfaction and even exhilaration when things go well.
Physical happiness: The joy we have in being fit, strong, and healthy, able
to do what we want to do. Its especially intense and special to those who
have their health and comfort restored after sickness or surgery.
Intellectual happiness: The pleasure that comes from understanding
something analyzing it, explaining it, improving it, remembering it, using it.
We master a subject or solve a problem and enjoy a kind of mental ecstasy.
Humor happiness: God created humanity with a sense of humor its not
the result of the fall. Sure, its often hard to separate humor from sin today
because jokes and funny stories are often so vulgar, crude, and demeaning of
others. However, there is still such a thing as holy and healthy humor.
Spiritual happiness: This joy often fills and even floods a believers heart
as he/she reads the Bible, learns about God and His grace, and communes
with the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. This is indeed joy unspeakable
and full of glory.

10 Steps To Finding Inner Happiness

1. Surround yourself with positive people
Keep the adventurous, humorous, and caring people in your close circle. Life
brings many ups and downs and we always need a friend or relative to lean
on. You're less lonely and depressed when you have friends in your life.

2. Get enough sleep and eat healthy

You will automatically be more upbeat if you wake up each day feeling
refreshed. Getting your 8 hours of sleep and providing your body with the
nutrients it needs will help you turn your frown upside down. Instead of going
through the day feeling sluggish, you will have a hop in your step and
everyone around you will see a change in your behavior.
3. Exercise

Sweat out the bad to make room for the good. Push yourself to new limits and
reduce your fatigue by creating a daily workout routine. Burn your stress
while you burn calories by going to the gym or taking your dog on a walk in
your neighborhood.

4. Meditate
No, you won't look silly meditating. Actually, it's more popular than you think!
When you meditate, a calm takes over your body and slows down the beta
waves in your brain. Take slow and deep breaths. Concentrate and open your
mind to your surroundings. Meditating among the peacefulness that nature
provides will help bring positive vibes your way. Try meditating on a beach or
among the tall trees in a forest.

5. Talk about your feelings

It's okay to be scared to talk about your issues, but getting them off your
chest will bring relief and closure to your life. Confiding in a trusted friend or
family member can help, but if that isn't working, try reaching out to a
therapist. Don't be embarrassed, because we all have issues that require
professional help.

6. Try new things

Find something that makes you smile. Do not rely on another person's
happiness to fill the void in your heart. Find a healthy hobby that you enjoy
and keep yourself busy with it. Get better at it and be proud of what you
conquer and learn from it. Make sure to keep identifying with what makes you
happy. A lot of people stop doing what makes them smile because of the
amount of effort needed to be put into it. Think of yourself as a plant. A plant
can only flourish if it is taken care of properly over time. Make sure that you
care for the thing that makes you happy and keep it alive and a part of your
daily routine.

7. Love Yourself
Love your fat, stretch marks, pimples and all. You are unique, powerful,
strong, and can do anything you put your mind to. Don't identify yourself by
tragedy, sadness, or illness. Be the best you and positive results will come!

8. Work On You
The most important relationship in your life is the one with yourself. Allowing
yourself to accept that mistakes are made is a trait that will build your
character. Don't be so harsh on yourself; everyone makes mistakes and life is
one big learning process.

9. Welcome Change
We shy away from major changes in our lives because they are scary and
new. You feel as if a part of your life has been removed and you don't know
what to do about the empty feeling. Embrace the new people and events in
your life. You have to be open to other beliefs, opinions, lifestyles, and
feelings in order to help you grow. Have courage to let go of the old you and
your old ways so you can make new memories.

10. Keep Moving Forward

People strive for perfection, but we know that it is unattainable. With every
new day comes new challenges, accomplishments, and mistakes. Always try
your best and you will get results. Your goal is long term and it is to be a
happier and healthier person. It may take time because life will deal you the
occasional setbacks, but keep moving forward and be thankful for your life.
The goal is constant progress!

9 Secret of Happy People

1. They count their blessings. Happy people, no matter what, sit down on
a regular and consistent basis and count what they are grateful for. They are
grateful that theyre employed, they are grateful that they have their health,
they are grateful that they have their loved ones, family and friends. So in
order to be happy, it is important to not take what you have for granted and
to understand the things that you should be grateful for.
2. They surround themselves with positive people. One habit of happy
people is they do not spend very much time with people who are negative or
pessimistic. Nope. They instead spend their time with people who are upbeat,
optimistic, encouraging and fun to be around. There is no question that the
quality of your life is in direct correlation to the quality of the people that you
spend time with. If you spend your time around unhappy people who growl a
lot, youll be less happy. If you spend your time around happy people, their
happiness is downright contagious.
3. They enjoy the small things in life. Happy people do not have to wait
for the big events they make sure to enjoy the smaller things in life
around them, whether it is a beautiful flower that bloomed in the yard, the
belly laugh of a baby, a lovely sunset or sharing a laugh with a colleague at
work. None of these things in themselves are earth-shattering, but happy
people take the time to notice them and notice the small moments that make
life so very sweet.
4. They say oh well when things go wrong. When things go wrong
with happy people they say oh well. They dont spend their time dwelling
on the fact that something went wrong, and they also acknowledge the fact
that it couldve been worse. If there are in a minor car accident, they say,
well, that couldve been worse. If the flight at the airport is delayed, they
say, well, at least it didnt get canceled. Happy people do not dwell on
negative events they just say next.

5. They help other people for absolutely no reason. Happy people help
other people for no reason other than the fact that helping other people
makes them happy. Opening the door for someone, doing someone a favor
without being asked, showing kindness to another human being on the planet
not only makes the other person feel better but makes a happy person feel
happier because they are doing something good.
6. They expose themselves to positive materials: Happy people do not
spend a lot of time watching violent movies or focusing on bad news on TV.
They instead spend their time exposing themselves to positive inspirational
and motivational materials. They watch movies that uplift them and bring
them hope. They read books that inspire and motivate them. They watch
videos online that make them laugh and bring them joy to see some
something good.
7. They do things that bring them joy. Happy people have made a list of
the things that bring them joy, and they try as much as possible to do things
that bring them joy on a regular basis. They do hobbies and activities that
they have a passion for and make them feel happier. It may be baking a cake
in the kitchen, assembling a model airplane, or working out but theyve
identified the life activities that bring them joy and they do them.
8. They say please and thank you. When someone does something
for them they say thank you very much or can you please send me the
information that I requested? The also go out of their way to give other
people compliments that are authentic and make the other person feel good
about themselves. They may be in a store and say to the cashier wow, I
really love your nails. Because the complement is honest and sincere the
cashier feels the sincerity and also has a better day because of an act of
kindness from a stranger. The happy person then feels happier because they
brightened up someone elses day.
9. They choose to be happy. There are many people in life who have faced
a great deal of adversity. However, when you meet those people you dont
know it because theyve simply have chosen to be happy. Yes, it may sound
strange you can actually make the decision to think about how you think and
decide to think happy thoughts instead of negative ones. When people
choose to be happy, they are deciding to be the architects of their own lives,
and they are deciding what attitude they are going to adopt, and guess what?
That changes how they perceive the world at large.
