Dear Sir/Maam:

I am writing to express my interest to apply for the position of Civil Engineer at the LOCAL
GOVERNMENT UNIT OF MARCOS. This exciting opportunity appears to be a wonderful fit with
my professional experience, personal interests, and career goals.
I am a graduate of Northwestern University with the degree of Civil Engineering and recently
passed the Civil Engineering Board Examination held last December 2014. I have maintained
my scholarship through a well-balanced program of study, which was not only very
analytical and technical in nature but also helped in team building and creating good
leadership qualities. I led the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers, Inc. Northwestern
University Student Chapter which enhanced more my leadership skills. I believe that with
the opportunity in here, I can develop more my abilities and technical skills especially within
the Engineering practice areas. I have faith that my academic background, and experiences
have provided me to meet the credentials needed to thrive as a Civil Engineer.
Experience wise, I worked as a Technical Staff/Civil Engineer at the Local Government Unit of
Marcos Engineering Department, primarily preparing Program of Works, Detailed
Engineering Designs of Vertical & Horizontal Structures. I finished 240 hours of training in
the project of Hilmarcs Construction Corporation which was the construction of the Lopez
Tower located in Rockwell, Makati City. Likewise, 120 hours of training at Viking Construction
& Supplies was spent to further uplift my knowledge. Through these work experiences, I fully
understood the importance of having a great team dynamics in time with todays multidisciplinary work environment.
I would appreciate considering me for an interview at your most convenient time preference.
