Equipment and parts are as specified in packing list, which
includes basic equipment, extras and materials of construction.
Nameplate detail comply with equipment.
Foundation bolts have been securely bolted.
The shell seal welded or otherwise treated to prevent corrosion
between the saddle and the shell.
Check sliding feet installed in a level position well guarded
and free to move in the correct direction.
Check shims are located on either side of each foundation bolt
and minimum amount has been used.
Check insulation and fireproofing are in line with the
requirements on the drawings.
Physically inspect for any damage to the shell during transport
or installation.
If a non- inspection vessel, particular attention shall be paid to
the quality of the welding.

The certificates supplied by the manufacturers should be clear
and unambiguous.

Check all pipe work adequately supported in such a manner
that no strain is placed on the vessel.
