Note
Mounting of C-rail
Read the general installation instructions and/or
the data sheets and setting instructions first.
Fasten the C-rail with 6 screws as shown in
Figure 1 and Figure 2.
All cables used require double insulation made of
PVC, TFE, PTFE or neoprene. Additionally, the
cable shall be specified for up to 300 V.
The power cable and the battery cable shall have
a cross section of 1 mm2.
The process cable shall have a cross section of
max. 0.5 mm2.

General Assembly
For the installation use the assembly package
560HMS80 1KGT 010200 R0001.
The assembly package contains the following
parts:
U
C-rail with six screws.
T-head bolt for earth connection point and
two earthing cable.
Plain washer, tooth lock washer and nuts.
Label with earthing symbol.
Cable clip and base plastic shielded.
Five canle clips and bases for the process
cable.
Seven stepped nibble.

Open the cable penetration
Power cable
Before installing the housing make sure that all
the openings required for the power cable and the
process cable are open.
Use always a 3-core power cable (Fig. 4).
Use a 2-pole disconnector for RTU560E. Install
the disconnector at a reachable place.
Use a hammer and crewdriver or a drill to break
them open. (Fig. 3)
Use attached stepped nibles to close the wholes.

Strip 130 mm of the insulation of the power cable.
Bend the green/yellow aerthing cable away from
the over two.Pull a heatshrinking sleeve, 110 mm
long, 8 mm O over the over cores (L and N
conductors) up to the insulation of the power
cable, and shrink the sleeve.
Install earthing point
The T-head bolt is the central point for earthing.
Mark this central earthing point with a label.
Insert T-head bolt into the C-rail approx. 45 mm
away from the edge of the lower part and put plain
washer U6,4 on it
Connect both cable to Phnix plug connectors of
the power supply 560PSU80/81. Connect the long
cable with P4 / PG, the short one with P2 / PE.

Pull a heatshrinking sleeve, 15 mm long, 8 mm O,
over the three cores so that part of it covers the
outer insulation of the supply lead and the over
part covers the three cores (Fig. 5). Shrink the
sleeve.

Pull the power cable through the provided opening
in the housing and close the opening with a
stepped nipple (Fig. 6).
Connect a Phnix P2 plug connector of the power
supply unit (3-pole) to the assembly cable and
tighten the three cores (Fig. 7).

Attach a ring cable lug M6 to the green/yellow
wire (earth), cross section of the wire. Attach a
ferrule of appropriate cross section to the other
two wires (blue, brown).

Fasten the power cable with a BBS clip on the
C-rail.
Put the ring cable lug of the green-yellow wire
over the T-head bolt. Put a plain washer M6 and a
tooth lock washer M6 on the T-head bolt and
fasten with a nut M6 (Fig. 8).

The assembly package has the following order
number:
Connect the two inner connections of the batteries
with the short 1-core cable (+ pole to pole), and
the outer connections with the long 2-core cable.
Connect the other end of the cable to the Phnix
P3 (T1, T2) plug connector of the power supply
unit (Fig. 9).

Observe polarity!
It contains:
Connect or earth the battery cable shield. Cut
approx. 5 cm of the upper cable shield and clamp
it with a metal clip.

Connect the temperature sensor directly to the
power supply unit 560PSU81 Phnix P3 (B+, B-)

Installation of 560FOC80
Process Wiring
The assembly package has the number
560FOM80 1KGT010300 R0001.
Read the data sheets and/or the installation
instructions of 560MIO80 and/or 560PSU80/81.
It contains:
The shields of all process cables shall be earthed.
C-rail with screws
Cable (4-core, 0.5 mm2, double insulation)
Metal clip
The double cable insulation must lead up to the
input of 560MIO80 and be stabilized with a
heatshrinking sleeve.
The opto-coupler is used exclusively for
Peripheral Bus extensions. Hence several
housings (max. 7) can be connected.
Neutral position of light is off !
