Curriculum Coordinators
recently implemented a
requirement for all
departments to document
inclusion of LMS in unit
planning.
This currently works as on
an informal level with
individual requests for
planning, operation, evaluation,
and improvement of the library
media program made throughout
the year.
Action Plan: Add item to agenda
at upcoming meeting with admin
to initiate a LMC. Creation of a
Library Media Committee with
meetings twice a year and
reports sent to administrators.
No policy in place. Current
practice leaves decision
making to LMS with no
published policy.
Action Plan: Creation of a
Library Media Policy to be
approved by administration.
Currently using zero based
budgeting. Any overage
requests are submitted to
Admin for approval. Any
year in which allocated
funds are not used are
typically attributed to
fluctuating currency rates .
Each faculty member
allotted PD funds to use at
discretion.
