ANCESTORS
Music was always playing in my
grandparents homes
Opera was their first choice of music
My mothers mother played the
organ
My grandmothers would sing as
they did housework around the
home and always went to the mass
where there was organ music and
singing

MUSIC IS IMPORTANT TO MY
PARENTS
My Dad was the Chair of the Board
of the Lyric Opera of Chicago
My Mom is on the Executive
Committee of the Board of the
Chicago Symphony Orchestra
Both are actively involved in arts
organizations in Chicago and
subscribers to opera and classical
symphonic music organizations
Both regularly go to hear music all
over the world, collecting musical
experiences
