Modern Visual Culture

EMiNA is the Society of Modern Visual Culture, based in Multimedia University, Cyberjaya. It is a student society for animation, comics and
video games. As president, I took the opportunity to rebrand the society with a new image and experimented with many visual styles for the
societys many projects.

2009:
DaiCon

DaiCon was an anime convention held at Multimedia University, Cyberjaya. Organised by EMiNA: Society of Modern Visual Culture. Japanese
singer/voice actress Chihara Minori graced the event as a special guest performer. I was in charge of creating graphics and visuals for the
events marketing campaign.

2011:
Soon Fatt Heng Motor

Soon Fatt Heng Motor Sdn. Bhd. requested for a revamp of their old website, which they first built in 2001. They asked for a cleaner,
modern look for an aged and rustic auto repair shop.

2011:
Oxygen Content

Oxygen Content is a creative agency that hires out directors for film and television. The website serves as a reference point for their clients as
well as a repository for work documents.

2012:
Stratel Malaysia

Stratel is a distributor of security and monitoring devices, whose clients range from end-users to high-profile security firms. They asked for a
revamp so that their flagship products get a prominent display on the get-go.

2013:
GoMakan.com

GoMakan.com, a Malaysian food directory website, is the flagship product of Monhan Holdings Sdn. Bhd. I served the company first as an
intern for three months in 2012 and six months in 2013 as full-time graphic designer. I designed various web campaigns and corporate
merchandise for the GoMakan.com brand.

2015:
Visual Arts Expo

Visual Arts Expo (VAX) is a three-day event, showcasing to the public the best and the cutting-edge in visual arts, which encompasses animation,
comics, film, music and video games. On top of the expo, there will be a closed-door business-matching session, where exhibitors, vendors, and
sponsors may interact with each other. I served as the Project Director as well as its Creative Director.

2016:
TEXT100 Malaysia

TEXT100 is a multi-national PR agency that serves global as well as Malaysian brands. During a brief freelancing period, I was tasked to create
various graphic assets (infographics, newsletters, map design, etc.) projects for several clients including FedEx, GCP Applied Technologies,
Pioneer and Khazanah.

2016:
PitStop Bar &
Restaurant

PitStop is a motorsports-themed bar and restaurant soon to open in Changkat Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur. I was commissioned to design the
logo for the restaurant and am currently working on the rest of their CI and graphic assets.
