When Leaving The Home

When entering or exiting the home, follow these steps: 1. When exiting, put the left foot out first and when wearing shoes, put the right shoe on first. 2. Greet those inside with "Assalamu 'Alaykum." 3. When entering, put the right foot in first and when removing shoes, take the left shoe off first. Recite a dua asking Allah for blessings when entering and leaving.

When exiting the house put out the left foot first then right.

Also when wearing shoe right foot first then left.

To greet those are in the house with "Assalamu 'Alaykum."

When entering the house put in the right foot first then left and when removing shoe left foot first then right. And recite the
following du'a;

"Our Lord! I ask of You the blessings of entering the home and the blessing of leaving. In the name of Allah , we leave and enter
the home and upon Allah , our Sustainer, do we rely and depend."
(Abu-Dawud, Hisne-Haseen)

(I leave) with the name of Allah ; "I rely on Allah ; there is no power to do any good nor any power to abstain from evil except
with the help of Allah ." (Tirmidhi, Abu-Dawud)

Virtue: Rasulullah said; "Whosoever recites the above du'a when leaving his home, then it is said to him (by the Angels) You
shall be guided, your needs shall be taken care of, you will be protected and may Shaitaan go far away from you."
