The HLINKCC is a dataline communications link
which allows access to the Complete Control
System dataline for global programming, monitoring
and control.
The HLINKCC also synchronizes and sets the clocks
in all Lighting Control Panels on the dataline, and
provides a contact closure to annunciate failed field
panels or relays.
Multiple HLINKCCs may be used on a single dataline
to provide multiple operator stations or communications
portals to other building control systems.
Features
Industry standard RS232 serial communications port
for connection to PC or modem
300/1200/2400/4800/9600/19200 auto baud
LED status indicators for Power, On Line and
Dataline activity
System synchronization clock with automatic
adjustments for Daylight Savings and Leap Year
Alarm contacts with LED indication to annunciate
failed field devices or the HLINKCC itself
Random dataline access with bus arbitration
supports multiple HLINKCCs on a dataline

Connecting HLINKCC
Connect the dataline to the DATALINE
terminals on the back of the HLINKCC
as shown to the right. Connect red to the
left terminal, black to the center terminal
and shield to the right terminal.
Connect an optional external device
(2A 28VDC maximum) to the ALARM
terminals, located on the back of the unit
between the COMPUTER and POWER
connectors.
Plug the included 12 volt power supply
into a 120VAC 60Hz outlet and connect
the cable to the POWER connector as
shown below right. The LINK FAIL LED
on the front of the HLINKCC will flash for
10 seconds while the unit performs
internal diagnostics.
Connect the unit to a PC or modem,
using HCABLE-C to connect to a PC or
HCABLE-M to connect to a modem
(cables available separately).
