Firmware Update Easy Guide

1. Please install driver setup-080220-1m-WHQL.exe then reboot


your system after installation. If you already install old version
driver, please remove it first.
2. In Windows XP and 2000, power on your enclosure and do not
mount your disk, miniSAN Management Tool will discover your
hard driver.

3. In Windows Vista, please right click miniSAN Management icon in


the system tray then click miniSAN. Click approve in the asking
window.

4. Right click mouse on your device icon and click Admin. Please do
not mount hard disk.

5. Then you will see below window..

6. Click Ctrl+Alt+U, then you will see the below window.

7. Select the firmware file which attached in the mail


(Hermes1.6.24_realtek0003b.bin) then click Open.
8. Then there will be a message displayed in the system tray.

9. While firmware update successes, you will see the below


message. Click OK.

10. Then firmware will restart your device then you can use it.
11. Please try to enter the default password miniSAN then check
Advanced page is the same as below picture.
