Newsletter Jan 30-February 3

1) Important dates for the class include Kindergarten Art & Music Night on January 30th, Reading Logs due January 31st, Progress Reports coming home on February 6th, and Valentine's boxes due February 13th. 2) In math, students will continue learning about 2-digit subtraction by breaking apart ones and tens. Websites for additional math practice are provided. 3) In social studies, students will begin a unit on Alaska, learning about animals, land features, and the Iditarod sled dog race. 4) Progress reports will be sent home on February 6th, and students should read 20 minutes per night and complete homework packets.
