Daniel White

Bar Associate

Liverpool
[email protected] - 07854496953

Throughout my time in employment, I have repeatedly been described as focused, confident and patient
employee and I firmly believe I can use these qualities in the working world to be a successful member of
any team. Taking part in a mostly group-work orientated subject such as Biochemistry has given me excellent
verbal negotiation skills, from organising my peers during experimental work to conflict resolution in and outside
university. I am eager to impress my peers and to further develop my expertise within hospitality, always
striving to learn more each day.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Food and Beverage Assistant

The Richmond Hotel - Liverpool - October 2016 to Present
Throughout the months I have worked at the Richmond Hotel, the experience gained has been crucial in
cementing my career choice firmly within hospitality. Having been provided exceptional cocktail and coffee
training, I am always thrilled to serve someone a drink I have made, only serving my best work and giving my
full concentration to every task given to me. Working in a large hotel over the Christmas period has taught me
how to work under great pressure while providing only the best customer service.

My Responsibilities include:
. Ensuring the bar and floor area are spotless at all times, tidying and polishing all furniture as required.
. Setting up floor plans for functions as required, moving the needed furniture in and out of the area.
. Folding Linen and Polishing cutlery to ensure the dining experience of the customer is stellar.
. Serving a range of teas and coffees to guests at an expert barista level.
. Serving a range of cocktails to guests, as well as tailoring drinks to the customers request if required.
. Ordering food at the bar and ensuring all customer requests are received by the kitchen staff.

Temporary Bar Staff

Verve People - Liverpool - September 2016 to Present
Working with Verve has given me a plethora of exposure to the ever changing world of hospitality, providing
me with the ability to experience barista work in small coffee shops, to providing outstanding service in the
VIP booths inside the echo arena.

Each job I have been assigned has required different sets of skills, and different ways of presenting yourself,
I personally believe this highlights my adaptability, especially working in stressful situations which are usually
staffed by less experienced employees.

Bar Associate
J.D Wetherspoon - Liverpool - May 2016 to August 2016
Working behind a bar opened my eyes to the dynamic world of customer service, the way in which two days
are never the same was an extremely enjoyable experience. Interacting with customers has come to me easily
and I enjoy politely conversing with guests/customers whilst they order drinks at the bar or waiting for their
food on the floor. I have shown great ability in keeping the bar and floor under control during incredibly busy
periods and I am a great motivator for my peers.

My Responsibilities Included:
. Keeping Bar and Floor clean and organised.
