members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod, enacted the following City Ordinance on second, third and
final readings:

MUCH THEREOF AS MAY BE NECESSARY TO BE MADE AVAILABLE
FOR THE PURCHASE OF THE FOLLOWING:
495 sets of basketball uniforms for 12 years old below
495 sets of basketball uniforms for 18 years old below
66 pcs. T-shirt with collar for coach & asst. coach of
basketball
396 sets of volleyball uniforms for womens division
396 sets of volleyball uniforms for mens division
66 pcs. T-shirt with collar for coach & asst. coach of
volleyball

TO BE USED DURING THE ANNUAL INTER-BARANGAY SPORTS
TOURNAMENT, FUNDS SHALL BE TAKEN FROM THE EXECUTIVE
BUDGET CY 2009 OF THE OFFICE OF THE SANGGUNIANG
PANLUNGSOD UNDER MOOE-SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN
ACTIVITIES, SUBJECT TO ALL LAWS AND AUDITING RULES AND
PROCEDURES.
WHEREAS, the City Government of Makati values and treasures its youth by ensuring their mental
and physical well being through competitive team sports;
WHEREAS, the city youth development program, through sports competitions, also teaches the
youth of the positive values of sportsmanship, fair play, team work and hard work that will mold them
to become more responsible and competitive citizens of Makati City;
WHEREAS, the Inter Barangay Sports Tournament, which co-inside with summer vacation is also
designed to keep the youth busy during school break to keep them away from vices and illegal drugs;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED, AS IT IS HEREBY ENACTED BY THE
SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD OF MAKATI, METRO MANILA, BY VIRTUE OF THE
POWERS VESTED IN IT BY LAW, IN SESSION ASSEMBLED, THAT;
Section 1. The amount of Four Million Pesos (P4M) or so much thereof as may be necessary to be
made available is hereby appropriated for the purchase of the following:
495 sets of basketball uniforms for 12 years old below
495 sets of basketball uniforms for 18 years old below
66 pcs. T-shirt with collar for coach and asst. coach of basketball
396 sets of volleyball uniforms for womens division
396 sets of volleyball uniforms for mens division
66 pcs. T-shirt with collar for coach and asst. coach of volleyball
165 pcs. T-shirt for chess uniforms
363 sets of table tennis uniforms
66 pcs. T-shirt with collar for coach of table tennis and chess
450 pcs. T-shirt with Makati and SK Logo for SK and Barangay Council
649 pcs. Jacket for SK Council, coaches of basketball, volleyball, table
tennis and chess
Sport supplies, materials and equipments
to be used during the Annual Inter-Barangay Sports Tournament, funds to be taken from the
Executive Budget CY 2009 of the Office of the Sangguniang Panlungsod under MOOE-Sangguniang
Kabataan Activities and further authorizing the Honorable Mayor Jejomar C. Binay to negotiate and
enter into a contract with the winning bidder, subject to all laws and auditing rules and procedures.
Section 2. Let copy of this Ordinance be furnished the City Treasurers Office, the City Accounting
Department, the City Administrator and other concerned offices for their information, guidance and
reference.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its approval.
