Statement of Purpose

I would like to join K.J.SIMSR because it is one of the top B-Schools in our country. Two
years in this college would polish me as an individual and transform me to take up
challenging roles in the years to come. An MBA from K.J.SIMSR would provide me with
quality education and in turn help me start my career at a managerial position.

I have been a sincere student and have an okay academic record. Apart from academics, I
also like taking part in various competitions. Also I have organised and coordinated various
annual festivals, department festivals, events and others. These experiences have helped me
in developing leadership skills and garner the ability to handle a large group of people
efficiently. These qualities make me a suitable candidate for MBA.

After school, I took engineering for Graduation. Currently, I am in the final year of my
graduation. Engineering as my field of study has helped me shape an analytical frame of
mind. It has imbedded an incisive thought process and the ability to graso new concepts with
relative ease. However, it also came with a realization that the opportunities for growth are
limited as an engineer and an MBA would definitely be a great learning experience, add to
my abilities and bestow upon me an unmatched access to career choices. Therefore, I aspire
to pursue a career in management.

I would want to take Human Resource as specialization. HR deals with humans and relation
between them. I am good with people and try to understand them as much as possible. With
the festivals in which I have participated have given me an experience of handling them and
to make an efficient and effective system of people.

Further, after completing my MBA, I would want to use my organizational and managerial
skills to contribute to a companys growth. I would want to ensure fast track and stable
growth in the quality of the work and learn from my job which would help me progress in my
career with rewards to match.

Presently, my goal is to learn from an MBA, gin practical knowledge and apply it for the
organization that would work for. Five years into the future, I would like to see myself as an
independent individual, both economically and mentally, so I can take my own decisions and
stand up for my choices and their consequences. Professionally, I see myself at a responsible
position willing to work hard and achieve new heights.

I am adaptable, quick learner and a team player. These qualities would help me in adjusting
in college and be responsive to the day and dy activities of the institute.
