Students will be working at their own pace through this unit. Students will be required to
complete assignments 1-6 & 8-14. Lesson 6 gives two options, the storyboard is for lower level
students or those who enjoy drawing and the Mt. Olympus assignment is intended for higher
level students or those more interested in mythology. Lesson 7 allows higher level students to
extend their thinking about modern colonies and is optional for the lower level students. This
format allows the teacher to work with individuals or small groups of students while using
Google Classroom to monitor the work of all students. It allows students to work at their own
pace to understand the material and work with partners who are at the same place they are.
Modified tests will be given to students that require it based on their IEPs.
